Radiator Cap Fitment

Hi,

 

Im trying to replace my Koyo high pressure radiator cap with a OEM Nissan one but doesn’t seem to fit right. It won’t twist all the way round like the existing one does

 

My car has a Koyo Aluminium Racing Radiator if that means I need to stick with the Koyo cap?

I think the high pressure Koyo Cap is causing me issues so trying to find a standard one that will fit

No reason why the OEM does not fit.

 

Check that the "lugs" are not bent and apply a bit of downward pressure when turning the cap.

The lugs seem fine. 

 

Just tried again even with downward pressure it won’t budge past 3/4

 

The Koyo goes on with ease
