Differential Settings

Hi Everyone

I have bought a Tomei 3.9 ring and pinion upgrade for the Quaife Diff 

and I have struggled to find a qualified fitter in the west country. So, 

myself and an engineer friend will set it up but we need the settings

for Backlash, preloads and runout. Can anyone supply numbers please

and any advice if youve done this yourself please.

I might be able to find out when at work tomorrow 👍🏼 If all else fails just get the workshop Manual from somewhere

Found a Japanese manual so if you can read Japanese you’ll be fine, think this links broken but they used to keep it all open and usable, you could request the file to be sent

There's quite a bit of info you need for this, its all in the "RFD" section of the nissan manual which I've tried to attach but no idea if it'll work
