SAFC99 Posted April 13, 2008 Posted April 13, 2008 Does the 2005 model 350z have remote keyless entry? Quote
Trev-the-Rev Posted April 13, 2008 Posted April 13, 2008 The UK car does. Not sure about JDM's though. Quote
martinmac Posted April 13, 2008 Posted April 13, 2008 Just the normal central locking button on the key bud. Quote
SAFC99 Posted April 13, 2008 Author Posted April 13, 2008 It does say on the broshure for 05 model that it does have keyless entry. Quote
AndySpak Posted April 13, 2008 Posted April 13, 2008 You can unlock all the doors by pressing a button rather than inserting a key and twisting. Is this what you mean or are you thinking about those systems that unlock the doors as the key nears the car? Mine doesn't do the latter but then its a 54-plate, not an 05. Quote
SAFC99 Posted April 13, 2008 Author Posted April 13, 2008 Yes thats what i mean mate, like what the micra has got its called remote keyless entry so u walk up to car with keys in pocket and it unlocks it self. Quote
AndySpak Posted April 13, 2008 Posted April 13, 2008 I couldn't be certain but I've not heard that any of the models do that. I'm sure someone with an 05 or 55 can set you straight. Quote
rayrrr Posted April 14, 2008 Posted April 14, 2008 I dont think its currently available on any Zeds. It would be nice though Quote
Chris`I Posted April 14, 2008 Posted April 14, 2008 I seem to remember Nissan stupidly called their normal remote unlock system - remote keyless entry - in the brochure. I noticed that when I got my Zed last year. Quote
GC350z Posted April 14, 2008 Posted April 14, 2008 A lot of manufactures having been calling it keyless entry for years. Quote
M13KYF Posted April 14, 2008 Posted April 14, 2008 No, not available on UK Zeds. +1 didn't like the system on the micra anyway Quote
