Brads Posted March 16, 2019 Posted March 16, 2019 Hi I’m new to this group, but am looking for some advice. I have recently bought second hand japspeed sport cats. After getting them professionally fit my car has been jolting when trying to accelerate. The garage has said it’s due to the new cats as the r faulty. I have spoke to the seller and said the problem, however he says it is impossible for them to be causing this problem. Any help would be appreciated. Quote
Andy_Muxlow Posted March 16, 2019 Posted March 16, 2019 If they have broken down inside that could cause something like what you have described, I would think. But I am no expert. Quote

Could the car be running a fair bit leaner maybe ? Quote
Jay84 Posted March 17, 2019 Posted March 17, 2019 Any warning lights or anything? Some diagnostics can give live data from the sensors, that'll give an indication of whether there's an issue or not. Quote
Brads Posted March 18, 2019 Author Posted March 18, 2019 The engine light came on yesterday after driving for around half an hour. Quote
davey_83 Posted March 18, 2019 Posted March 18, 2019 Will need to pull the code/s and go from there. Quote
