RuiFig Posted August 29, 2018 Posted August 29, 2018 (edited) Hi everyone, I'll be the proud owner of this beauty ...https://www.350z-uk.com/topic/121549-azure-blue-2004-single-turbo-z-£27k-spent-£10450-ono/ Portuguese guy living in Edinburgh for about 10 year. Family man, and completely new to the modified cars. Rasco (the current owner) has been quite patient helping me sort out things before I go down to to England to get it. Getting a good insurance quote is tricky it seems. Rasco suggested greenlight, but they require a full UK Drivers License (Mine is Full EU). Have a couple of other ones to check that he suggested: AdrianFlux and SkyInsurance. Edited August 29, 2018 by RuiFig more content Quote

RuiFig Posted August 29, 2018 Author Posted August 29, 2018 Looking forward to look after that car. Been checking what I need to sort out before I go down to England. Hopefully I'll be able to bring it home and avoid another trip. Again, kudos to Rasco for the patience. hehe Quote
RuiFig Posted August 31, 2018 Author Posted August 31, 2018 Everything sorted. Took me 3 days to sort out the insurance. Bloody Hell! Big kudos to Rasco for the patience and help. Although I've been driving for 21 years with no accidents/claims, I was in a peculiar situation. - EU License - Been a named driver in the UK for 7 years (My wife took the policy for our family car in her name out of convenience). So, 0 No Claim Bonus for me. :( - Modified car. In short... insurance at £2.5k ;( And yes, I did try hard to get a decent quote. My first quote was almost 5k. Looking forward to drive her up to Edinburgh. :D Quote
LRF4N Posted August 31, 2018 Posted August 31, 2018 That’s almost as much as my car cost me Keep your eye on the local meets section, most cars are from the west so meets are in Glasgow at the moment but hopefully get some in the east in future Quote
RuiFig Posted September 4, 2018 Author Posted September 4, 2018 Officially part of the 350z club Was a long trip to Edinburgh. Noisy, bumpy... and with a smile on my face. Quote
