From memory, there's like a standard letter that you fill in some blanks and send it off. Some people ignore it and they eventually go away. But you'll get a few letters. 

 

Got one for staying at a services on the m6 for like 10 minutes too long. Never paid it.

Yea, we were the first ones there and the fine says 31 minutes, maybe it was a 30 minute grace period

did the ticket state 31 mins? 

If not, and that’s just a calc you’ve made, it could be possible that the anpr camera didn’t clock you leaving the car park and so they’ve assumed you were there all day..?

dunno otherwise - but I’ve had nothing so figure I’m “safe” - at least for now!
