AMT Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 Open up the boot to find the spring damper thingy bent.. Tried to fiddle with it and it broke (good times). I'm in no rush to replace it tbh but I assume theres no major need for it other than to soften the close of the boot? Are these things easy to get hold of and replace? Lol Quote
veeg33 Posted August 28, 2017 Posted August 28, 2017 (edited) OEM boot poppers are expensive to buy new, around £30 each --> http://www.clarkmotorsport.co.uk/parts/Boot-Spring-Lift/84415-CD71A Used parts are slightly cheaper but risk of ending like the one you have now, around £15-£20 but difficult to get hold of. Try Alex he might have some. Edited August 28, 2017 by veeg33 1 Quote
AMT Posted August 29, 2017 Author Posted August 29, 2017 I damn well new it'd be dear...grrr stupid little thing haha. It can sit like it is for now, not a necessity just annoying when small things break (mind you its the first thing that has...) Quote
Adrian@TORQEN Posted August 29, 2017 Posted August 29, 2017 Easy fix, always in stock: https://www.torqen.uk/nissan/350z/body-styling/interior/976-350z-nissan-oem-rear-boot-lift-spring-84415-cd71a.html 1 1 Quote
