Any ideas on what this noise could be?

Got a weird noise coming from the engine, any ideas what it might be and if it's ok to drive?  I'm in Peterborough, 100 miles from home right now, so wondering if it's ok or not to get back with or to call someone out.

have you got some oil in the engine?

Yes all sorted and was in fact low oil. Thanks guys much appreciated.

Bloody hell that must have been a close shave if the engine began to make noises for the lack of oil.
