What do you mean by "thicker " mat Colin ? Ebized Posted December 8, 2016 Share Posted December 8, 2016 (edited) The standard boot mat is less than half the thickness of those that could (can?) be purchased as optional extras - although mine was included in the purchase as one of the early cars that Nissan were offering free, no doubt to help sales along with other bits and pieces in 2009. Just think of a basic office style carpet compared to that you would choose at home that has a deeper pile - sorry don't know how to describe it better than that.
