So, a couple of weeks have passed and I finally received my new front wheel, had to order it as the bike shop I got the new rear wheel didn't have the front in stock.

Here it is next to my old wheel, which now means my bike is fully disc brake orientated

Also, while waiting for the wheel to arrive, I learnt how to adjust both front and rear derailleurs (hadn't a clue before, thanks YouTube) and all is running smooth.

I love the fact that my bike is virtually silent apart from tyre noise, there is no noise when it's free running, love it

What is that for?

It stops mud/water from the front tyre being flicked up in front of you, which you have to then cycle through, so it goes right in your face.

I road without one on the other day after it had rained, its amazing how much surface water you flick up. Put one straight back on, never again....
