Steering Wheel Retrim???

Hey!

 

Anyone here had their steering wheel retrimmed??

 

Even better in the Herts area..?

 

I've seen a few outer wheels people have purchased as ebay specials, but I do find a few of these max power esque and they're really not to my taste.. Sorry not sorry.

 

I just want to keep the standard wheel, but go for a nice alcantara and maybe some orange stitching.

 

Please let me know if you have!

 

Also, how long it took/ removal/ install etc.

Have a search on here for posts that mention Jack at royalsteeringwheels.com. He's not a trader on here but plenty of us have used him and there are a few threads showing his work.

 

The wheel in my build thread (link in my signature) is basically what you're thinking about.

 

He's based in Aylesbury, so not that far from you.

Hi buddy, Jack does a service exchange too, . . so you don't have to take your old wheel off till you get your new one from him. Then simply send back your old wheel minus the airbag. He does awesome work B)

Go and see Mondo from Hide N Seat right here on the forum. He did my wheel for me, spot-on job and more than reasonably priced. Great guy to deal with, and I'm not easily impressed
