Ollie_kerslake Posted September 26, 2016 Posted September 26, 2016 Hi Guys I'm looking at getting my car mapped as I have a new exhaust and filters. The mapper in question is Alan Jefferies (Engine Tuner) in Plymouth. I wanted to know a little more about their software and they are using AlienTech to map my 350. Is this the same as Superchips were they just load a generic map on? Cheers Quote
Irn Bru Posted September 26, 2016 Posted September 26, 2016 Three words.... don't do it. Get it uprev mapped, it's the only proper map for the 350z. It'll cost circa £400 including vat. 1 Quote
Tricky-Ricky Posted September 26, 2016 Posted September 26, 2016 Just taken a look at the website, and its seems that the maps look to be of a generalized generic format, not that this is a terrible thing as i would suspect even Abbey and Horsham will use a generic map.....however at least they will have either originated the base map themselves, and/or tweaked the maps to the individual car as its on the rollers. Personally i would stick to a known tuner as in Abbey or Horsham, who have accumulated a wealth of experience. Quote
