Hi Guys I'm looking at getting my car mapped as I have a new exhaust and filters. The mapper in question is Alan Jefferies (Engine Tuner) in Plymouth. I wanted to know a little more about their software and they are using AlienTech to map my 350. Is this the same as Superchips were they just load a generic map on? Cheers

Yeah the key and fob in the picture work but can't get them to get the car into program mode so I can add a spare fob

On bugger! I've got a copy of some software that garages use to follow on how to fix things on all makes and model and even four our models its says to follow the procedure that clearly doesn't work. Are you using the master key Jay Kay?

Nope. It draws such a small amount of power. Left the car for 7 days and started fine.

Thanks. I have the occasional dropout but I'm with EE so the coverage is pretty good. I use Here maps. You can use it offline just download the map the do UK and or every country in Europe and it's free.

Mines a 350 and works fine

I've rooted it and changed a file so if it's run out of power as soon as a power source is detected it turns on. If it's still got battery erobot handles it. So if power detected power on screen, wifi, bluetooth and gps. If power source is lost its runs an application called screen of as well as powering down the wifi,gps and bluetooth.
