Shifty6Speed Posted September 17, 2016 Posted September 17, 2016 (edited) Too much fun with ESP switched off and it's starting to slip and smell now Any recommendations on an aftermarket upgrade. Obviously something the can cope with the "fun times"... Will be doing fly at same time... Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk Edited September 17, 2016 by Shifty6Speed Quote

RavenDW Posted September 19, 2016 Posted September 19, 2016 I don't think I'm quite due one (yet) but have people got recommendations for I guess what we call 'fast road use'? I won't be doing donuts or go on tracks but you've got to have fun sometimes. I've got a 07 DE. http://clarkmotorsport.co.uk/parts/Clutch-Kit--Single-Plate-Organic/KNI25525-1A That one looks good for everything you get. However, if I couldn't spring for a clutch/flywheel combo how do the Exedy clutches stack up? Clark has them for less than £300. 1 Quote
nowhereboy Posted September 19, 2016 Posted September 19, 2016 I'm running the Exedy clutch and cc flywheel - clutch holding up fine and it gets enough abuse 1 Quote

I certainly need something more in line with my driving style. I don't have a history of driving fast road Jap cars to pootle about in them... Like elderly Jaguar F-type drivers. Having just changed jobs, I can't really afford that kind of money without a monthly finance deal... Hmmmm. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk Quote

Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk I had a quick chat with a mechanic I know (well, my dad knows) and his response was that they would charge a flat rate to fit a clutch and flywheel, I just had to spend whatever silly amount I wanted and turn up with the parts for them. 1 Quote
