rough idle

hi all

 

i just had the engine replaced in 2003 350z. all seems fine but its idling rough and wants to cut out. reving it is fine.

no warning lights etc

the mechanic is stumped, he is saying maf sensor as when its unplugged it idles fine but then wont rev passed 2.5krpm

 

any ideas??

Bet he's got the coil packs plugged in incorrectly.

Or, and this is a guess, it might be the MAF.

Mine had this EXACT ailment.

 

A coil pack was buggered.

Me too, coil pack was my issue.
