Just a heads up...

 

This is my old car that was written off in the floods at Christmas time. There's a post up here with pics of full damage

 

What they don't know is that the head gasket is f%$@#d and as such leaks between cylinders 2 and 4 (as far as i can remember)

 

Thought i'd let folks know in case they thought this might just be a plug and play engine

 

Also i was told this vehicle was to be destroyed due to the contamination of the water etc. etc.

 

Might be a nice project for someone but will require a strip down

If I'm reading the advert correctly, £6,500 just for the engine with supercharger........ The rest of the Nismo stuff (LMGT4 and bodykit) will worth some good money

I'm guessing they haven't found half the goodies yet! They haven't mentioned the fuel return system. No i was told by the insurers that due to spores from the contaminated water (there was a heap of raw sewage due to location) that it had to be destroyed!

Well their video of it running shows the pedal dance is needed with the engine light on.

I hope it was an agreed value payout and not just for a basic DE engined 350!!

Otherwise I would say that's a scam by someone at the insurance company!

Have to update this, have been in contact with the seller and they've pulled the ad awaiting further discussions about the engine.
