Here we have a diy ccv mod

Bought to to do the coolant control valve mod but ended up buying a Motordyne one instead

 

Very simple to do everything needed is supplied

 

Price - £5

it is basically an open or shut valve to stop hot coolant from entering throttle body so theoretically lowering intake temps

Been having a read up about them and it seems its pretty pointless in the uk.

Basically its for places like florida where its hot and you want to stop the warm coolant going through the throttle body.

Its cold enough in the uk that we dont need it.

I have one and it's a massive difference when feeling the plenum around the tb - now cool whereas before was too hot to hold.

It's correct we ain't the hottest country around, but it's more of the effect the hot coolant has rather than outside temps.

gives you the option if british wintertime ever gets low enough you should need it,

 

pretty self explanatory....
