jase4072 Posted May 23, 2016 Posted May 23, 2016 So, after searching the forum for the thread size I opted to follow the M12 X 1.25 advice. It turned out to be the wrong choice as I actually have the M10 x1.25 thread .. Grrrr. I now have a rather cool Top Secret billet gear knob all the way from Japan sitting on the shelf whilst I work out where to find a thread adaptor. I did think about sending it back and exchanging it but its not how the company operates so I need to adapt and overcome. Any ideas where I can get a thread adaptor. Quote
ZEUS Posted May 23, 2016 Posted May 23, 2016 Something like this? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BRASS-SHIFT-KNOB-THREAD-REDUCER-ADAPTER-INSERT-M12X1-25-OD-M10X1-25-ID-/281989287870?hash=item41a7df0fbe:g:0lsAAOSwpDdU6Q5s Quote

jujun Posted May 24, 2016 Posted May 24, 2016 I had the same problem with my blox knob as the thread was too wide, so I bought this http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/JDM-shift-knob-adapter-to-fit-thread-10x1-25-and-will-convert-to-12x1-25-/322099139419?txnId=1598736517011 Did the job for me and prefer it over the brass one that ended shredded when it came with mine originally Sent from my D6683 using Tapatalk Quote
