Is the fuel filter in tank/replacement schedule?

Having a service done and don't recall having the fuel filter being replaced for a while.

Anyone know if or how often they should be replaced?

I thought they were good for life?

It is an intank filter and only clean out or replace as required.

 

There is no set service schedule for replacement or clean.
