Stan Posted March 15, 2016 Posted March 15, 2016 A common problem it seems! Although my roof still works fine, the elastic between what I assume is the 2nd and 3rd bows (just behind the drivers head) is very slack when closed so I want to fix it before it becomes a problem. I have got some high strength tensile webbing to replace this, however does anyone know what tension it should be when the roof is closed? Is it meant to be fully tight (i.e. at the limit of their stretch) or a bit slack? Quote
hairyman68 Posted March 15, 2016 Posted March 15, 2016 Try car hood warehouse. . They sell them... Quote
Stan Posted March 15, 2016 Author Posted March 15, 2016 I have the straps ready, I just need to know how tight they need to be, if anyone who owned one from new may know? I don't want to make it too tight and then the bows start bending when the roof is up Quote
