MK JAPFEST CONVOY

Hi guys, are we not all on the club stand?

 

I still haven't booked my hotel but i'm hoping to do it over the weekend, anyone got ideas for a meeting spot yet and times ect?

So we can all start planning out journey's etc I'm going to propose the below;

 

07:00 - 07:30 - Meet at MK Dons Stadium (this is where we have the MK 350z meets).

 

07:30 - 08:00 - Head down the A5 and into Silverstone.

 

08:00 - 08:30 - Get parked in the club stand.

 

 

The gates open to the public at 09:00 so this should hopefully get us in without having to sit in traffic but also not having to meet up ridiculously early either.

 

If anyone has any suggestions etc please share.

Sounds like a plan to me, i;m travelling down on the Sat and staying in Milton Keynes (probably the premier inn) so not to far from your suggested meeting spot.

 

Is anyone else staying in MK the night before?

Im coming down from Manchester and obviously due to the early start want to stay near by the night before. I've never been to MK so after stumbling on this thread thought i'd stay there and join your convoy.

Spatt, the wife and I are also staying at Premier Inn Silverstone saturday night. Meet in the bar and have a few jars?

Its kind of a good thing we dont all turn up at the same time.. can you imagine having a convoy of over a hundred zeds haha (actually that would be epic)

 

seriously though i think by the time we've had a quick chat and driven down the road to silverstone everyone will still be queuing up. Anyone got there tickets via email yet?? I haven't. I'm not bothered because i have a receipt showing what ive paid for so if they dont turn up thats their problem!

If anyone else is around on the Saturday night we could have a mini pre show MK-meet ! Probably be loads of other nice Jap metal in the car park too i would imagine.

As for timing, looking round the forum has made me slightly cautious, is leaving 30 mins to get in enough? i'd hate us to miss our entry dueto the ques.

 

Perhaps we should me things forward 30mins just to be safe?

 

I'm happy to go with a majority vote on this though.

When it was at Combe I was up at 5 haha. You guys parked on the grass? The supra guys got stuck in the grass

Tried to enter show n shine but my email screwed up. Was parked next to a zed last year, like gold with Bentley wheels?

If it's were I think it is then yes it's tarmac. Should be near the paddock cafe and petrol station

Had yesterday and tomorrow of so cleaned mine within an inch of its life, just the Mrs zed tomorrow, hopefully the weather will be okay tomorrow and Sunday
