Hi guys, I have another group of mods in the works and one soon to follow will be my new clutch and flywheel.

I managed to get a hold of a nismo single mass flywheel. I know there is mixed reviews on it but I've decided to go with it.

My issue is what other parts do I require when sending it to Infiniti to fit.

I have the following;

Nismo flywheel

Chromoly clutch pivot

And nismo roller bearing.

Will an exedy oem replacement clutch kit be all I require? Ie clutch, plate and release bearing?

Cheers guys first time I've had to replace a clutch on any car. :thumbs:

My car is on 90k miles. As with all Zeds, it's a little notchy in and out some gears.

I think with age/miles a full overhaul would be good for it. Plus a slight improvement in throttle response would be beneficial.

Did you change the flywheel?

Any clutch gurus out there able to help with my part list?

If it's Nismo it shouldn't cause you any pain. I think you'd be bonkers to get her opened up and pay all that labour and not do it at the same time :shrug:

I'm not exactly sure on what you mean Gareth could you elaborate a bit for me? I'm going to take the flywheel into Infiniti and double check with the guys in there to let me know what they think but it always helps to know a little before I go. Thanks.

I'm sure someone will be along to correct me but the oem flywheel is dual mass so the clutch plate wont be the sprung type. If youve got a single mass flywheel then you want a non-oem sprung type clutch plate.

It'd be interesting to hear from more knowledgeable folk
