Mikevv Posted October 14, 2015 Share Posted October 14, 2015 Hey guys, I'm hopefully getting my Rays refurbed next week, the previous owner seems to have used them for rulers to see how close he can grind them against the curb before he feels it . Anyways, I'm stuck on colours. I'm thinking either Anthracite/Shadow chrome sort of look, or a bronze in like a TE37 style - I toyed with crazy DARK purples but thought it was a bit much to be honest and nobody liked it eventually talking me out of it. My car is black, and STOCK ride height, without spacers. Here are some pics of the sort of styles I like, ignoring the fact ones an Evo with different wheels - I just like the colour! Not sure if one of you fancy computer wizards can photoshop the car to be black, or maybe easier the wheel colour onto a black Z? After that, what about my nuts? Can anyone recommend me some Bronze coloured nuts to match the Brembo's or at least close to it? Why not go for just black one or crazy and get neo chrome ones. In fact I might have some neo chromes u might like Would certainly look nice against some anthracite wheels. I sorta dig it, but I'm not quite ballsy enough to pull them off outside of Need For Speed/Forza EDIT - DIDN'T ADD THE PICTURES - OOPS!!!! What's your SO? Pics look good but I think a dark bronze/brown would look good against black. Guy i know has a black 370 with Matt bronze te37 and they look really good. SO meaning the same as OH , basically a nice way of saying girlfriend or boyfriend haha ( Significant Other and Other Half, my favourite, the B&C - Ball and Chain ) I'm definitely thinking of the bronze/brown ish as an option now, just a matter of not chickening out now :S Has he got any pics on the forum? or can you get any for me? If you like Rota bronze though they are painted/powder coated so you should be able to find a code somewhere. Purple is a great colour, had my Volks Sf Winnings done purple on black, but you will struggle to pull it off on std rays imho. Fortune favours the brave however Ah that would explain their frankly nuts price But the quality must be outstanding I figured the paint shop can whack up something I like, have a sit down and show them all the pics I agree that on Rays purple won't look right, but on something bolder than my stock car, just maybe.
