So the zed failed its mot this week on a snapped front suspension spring, the problem is neither me or the garage know what the spring is to get a replacement (will be doing both fronts anyway). Bought the zed years ago, still running on the same lowered springs when I bought it and it is very low. The only information I have is I'm pretty sure they were apex springs and the part number for the shock absorber is 56110 cd700. I really hope someone can help, if nothing else I just need to know what the actual drop is on the spring, I'm sure its 30mm but dont want to just guess. Thanks in advance everyone

Eibach will give a 25mm drop all round so the "gap" will depend on what wheels and tyres you have and if you have spacers fitted.

Tein are also decent but not such an aggressive drop.

All depends on what stance etc. you are looking for.

The above springs are fine on OEM shocks.

If you prefer an adjustable set up, then you will have to look at coil overs.

Alex. :)
