Plenum Question?

I have done a search but cat find an answer to the following....

 

If I buy a Kenetix Plenum top, Do I need to remap the Car?

 

Im not trying Get extra Power (although it would be nice) but more about getting the ol girl breathing right.

 

Can someone advise?

Any modifications done to the car would need a remap to get the full benefit of the modification

No mate it wont cause any problems if you don't remap.

Just a plenum won't need a remap and won't do any harm, however, if you change the air filter, cats exhaust etc it will probably throw the AFR out more than the ECU can correct on its own.

Its only the Plenum and A K&N panel filter ill be fitting, Rest of my money will go on Brake Disc's, Pads Lines and tyres.....

These cars are amazing at tuning by themselves thanks to the ecu and dual wideband O2's. I've driven with larger MAF tubes, bigger injectors and even e85. The ecu can comp a ton. We did a 2015 with intake, my ported TB's, upper and lower manis, long tube catless headers and exhaust and gained almost nothing from tuning and very very little AFR adjusting.
