sinbad Posted December 10, 2007 Posted December 10, 2007 3yr contract worth £25m. with a opt out clause after 12months apparently.. Quote
Chesterfield Posted December 10, 2007 Posted December 10, 2007 Taken from the BBC: Alonso is believed to have negotiated number one status with Renault. Isn't this the top and bottom of why he just couldn't get along at Mclaren? If Im not No.1 in the team then Im not playing... I actually look forward to Mclaren and/or Ferrari running away with the championship next season if for no other reason than to see that spoilt mardy arse spend the season watching other people take the podium. mbs Posted December 10, 2007 Author Posted December 10, 2007 No 2 at Renault is going to be rookie Nelson Piquet Jr. Be interesting if he's as good as another rookie Alonso teamed with. Quote
Trev-the-Rev Posted December 11, 2007 Posted December 11, 2007 Does this mean that Kovalinon is going to Mclaren then? Quote
GC350z Posted December 11, 2007 Posted December 11, 2007 McLaren or Toyota seem the most likely. Quote
sinbad Posted December 11, 2007 Posted December 11, 2007 Does this mean that Kovalinon is going to Mclaren then? Possibly but the rumours are that De La Rosa has been promoted from test driver. That way Mclaren will keep there spanish links/support. Quote
