benjy88
Guys, this is killing me... I have an absurd noise, a deep 'thrumming' coming from near-side front I believe. So far, I have changed the front wheel hub, as the noise gets worse with speed, meaning it has to be rotationaI!? I can't find any buIges or obvious fIat spots on my tyres, aIthough they are getting quite Iow on tread... I've had the car up on the ramp, and there doesn't seem to be any play in and out at aII, so I have to assume it onIy happens under Ioad. It's aIso much more prominent when taking a high speed, Iong right hander. It's so bad now. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Toon Chris
Has to be a bearing IMO. Did it change at all when you changed the hub? Also noises can be deceptive when driving - sure its not coming from the back?
GIXXERUK
Right hander, loading on the left, does sound like the passenger side wheel bearing
ZMANALEX
Bearing or tyre by the sounds of it. if not rotational try swopping the tyres round.

I should hope it's not the bearing/hub Alex, as it's now got the one you supplied me on it! Haha Changing tyres though this week, so we'll see what happens next. It's getting really irritating now. Alex HMB
Did swapping the tyres round sort it?
