  1. yeah, you're right. do you think a gunmetal polished effect is possible?
  2. Had a look at wickedwheels, looks good , suddenly ideas are rushing into my head at a rapid rate. might get them done in gun metal and then highly polished.
  3. once the tears stopped flowing, seems like kerbing the rims is a good enough reason to sort out something different. cant bare to look at them in the morning.
  4. Due to some muppet who thought his clk's made of gold and that he shouldnt have to give way, Ive ended up kerbing/grinding my standard rays. Gutted , to make matters worse, he turned around and said "so what, they're only wheels, pal". cheeky w*nker. So, having calmed down, i was wondering if anyone has ever tried anything with thier rays, for example, refurb, powdercoat, dar chrome and stuff like that? what can i do to make them stand out? i was gonna go for 19"s, but if anything can be done to the standard 18" rays, then im a happy Z driver. Oh, and can i see pictures too.
  5. Just swapped mine over for a magnaflow, so wanna get shot of the standard exhaust, its got a straight through pipe, removed the midbox and that gave it a nice addictive high pitched tone. Ill try getting some pictures on here soon. No idea on what price to accept so make your offers please.
  6. looks like the offset is slightly out so with a 10mm spacer, wont go anywhere near the callipers bud Was thinking about that, my Z looks very low, havent changed anything at all tho, would the tyres hit the arch if i put on spacers, also are there any cons of 10mm spacers? Tyre won't touch the arches. Cons are that in theory the load on the axles is outside of the intended parameters. Never heard of anyone experiencing any problems due to spacers though...... Talking about the front wheels, right?
  7. I just won that exhaust today, paid £82 and collected it, Was very dirty and a little rusty, but one steel brush & Autosol later and its looking good as new. havent stuck it on yet, cant wait to hear it.

  9. Ive always liked the Dotz Roadsters in 19"s, but been told they'll scrape the calipers, anybody have any idea if thats true?
  10. Any chance you'd sell the lot without the rear spats?
  11. mate, i know exactly what you mean, some songs are a little fuzzy and some songs are fine , so ive ended up listening to mp3 cd's.

    Nismo Gearknob

Does anyone know where i can buy a nismo aluminium (titanium) gearknob at a cheap price? i want the shifter (couldnt say knob on its own ) that matches the aluminium trim in the car but just cant justify paying 90 squid for one.
  14. Does anybody have a sound clip of a jwt popcharger on a 350z which has had the middle-box removed from the exhaust system? Already got a nice exhaust note by removing the middlebox from my standard system, hoping a popcharger will give it a deeper growl as it sounds kind of like a standard sports system on a cayman s.
  15. Its a kenwood ddx-6029, discontinued model.
  16. im running infinity reference comps shallow mount's up front and infinity reference co-ax on rears, the sound is great, brilliant clarity and loud punchy bass. i wasnt after mega-bass, so this system is ideal for me. ive put a cover on, but only so that the wires are covered up and all you can see is the amps. the rear window and sides are tinted, so not many people can see them, but im thinking of getting the acrylic amp covers from auto-acoustics.co.uk, might give the amp rack a touch of class. it would be nice to see what others have done, most the nutcases on here have very nice installs, it'd make mine look plain.
  17. I bought the box from a company based in uk, they import it from u.s. not bad for the price, but ebay also do some box's too. Only thing i had to make was the amp rack which i screwed onto the back of the sub box. Im sure paul (the green z) could give you the dimensions for the box as he made it himself.
  18. there i was thinking i set a new trend.
  19. its annoying when you have a track blasting out loud and then the satnav woman blurts out her directions, so im happy ive gotten rid of the voice. Worse with a human navigator much worse, my missus blurts out directions now just to **** me off.

  21. Cheers mate, its a factory satnav, after putting in the headunit, all ive lost is the direction voice (the annoying woman telling me where to go), other then that, its all working fine and havent had any problems.
  22. Ok, so it may not be the best install you've seen, especially compared to everyone elses, but it does the job and makes me smile. Couldnt do the headunit, so got a mate to sort that out while i done the amp housing and wiring. Not seen is the ipod connection in the armrest next to the phone kit. the whole install was really easy who am i kidding, it was the hardest thing ive done!

    Which Colour

I reckon the red calipers with black lettering would look better if you had black diamond brakes disks, it would bring more focus to the calipers. black calipers with red lettering will get dirty very easily and it'll need a scrub after a while.
