    20"s on a Z

They look amazing, all of them. i think ill have to take a picture of the distance between the tyre & arch on my z, think my car may have been lowered by the previous owner, or maybe the uk spec ones comes slightly lowered then the other specs. either way, ill try sticking on some pictures later and hopefully, you can all let me know if it looks normal for the gap between my arch and tyres to look as it does. so far, thanks for helping me see some 20/20 vision.

ah brilliant, did you have any trouble with them? also, what width and tyres are you using?

    20"s on a Z

for some reason, my car looks a lot lowered then most z's ive seen, still have standard suspension tho.
  4. Same thing with me, with the standard airbox i get one pop at the most, but with a popcharger i get more then a few pops when the revs smooth down. however, my exhaust is a little OTT Loud.

    20"s on a Z

its an idea that needs more information to develope, but thinking about 20" alloys on my Z, However, when i look at my standard 18" rays, doesnt look like theres much room for 20's under those arches, 19's would just about fit. does anyone have 20's on thier Z, if so, what offset, tyre sizes and alloy width will work? also, the drawbacks!
  6. Really stuck for choice if you gotta flash someone or give way.

they all about the same price, the buddy club's are more, but its buddy club, you know what you pay for with those and its worth it. they all look nice, shame nobodies voted for the vortex r's, its ace 132 & buddy club so far.

hmm, they look very nice, especially on an azure z, but doesnt quite look like 19's (suppose its not lowered).

Ok, Z-Heads. Im in the market for a new set of rims, but got three choices. all are staggered fitments and will suit & fit with ease (hopefully), only problem is, its too hard to decide and most people on here have had more experiance in choosing the right rims, so please help me out before i lose my mind and choose the wrong ones. 1st: buddy club alloy wheels in 19". well, its buddy club, & they would suit a GM z pretty well. 2nd: Mania racing vortex R, looks the business, might be a bit on the heavy side, but seriously does look the business. 3rd: Ace alloy wheels in 19". If i got these, id powder-coat the centre in GM.
  15. bloody hell, more then 4 weeks just for a kit? how much does it cost for the kit inc painting?
  16. waiting for the fitters to e-mail me the video clip, once i recieve it, it'll be on here.
  17. i tried some cats to see the difference, wasnt really impressed, kinda dissapointed, but sold this system now, so well happy cuz bought it for 80 quid and just sold it for almost 300.
  18. well, paid for the new exhaust in full, after selling the old magnaflow box, this cost 280 all in, however, i used some exhaust tips i had at home.
  19. As a very few know, i had the luck of winning a magnaflow exhaust on ebay at around 80-odd quid, after much debate, decided it wasnt loud enough for my means, so contacted nemisisUK, who then put me in touch with a magnaflow fitter in heathrow, so quick visit and a 2 hour wait, and its out with the old and in with the new custom exhaust. best bit is, i sold my standard exhaust and also my old magnaflow exhaust and walked away with a tidy profit. anyways, heres the pics, note the small silencer in the middle, and yes, its damn loud.
  20. Ok, as requested here are the pictures of the exhaust, just took it off the car again..............
  21. required on the Revup engine 06 on. DAMN! I knew i bought the wrong z. , cheers phil, expect a call from me soon regarding this.
  22. ok, i know what a plenum spacer is, but im told i also need this, now before i go and by it, i need to know what it is and how it works. also, ive heard that on some z's, you dont need them. ive got a 06 z so would i need it?
  23. ill try, its on the car now, so can barely see the box or tubes. fits flush, soon as ive got some nice pics, will upload
  24. im happy about the cost, but its not as loud as id imagined, tbh my stock system with a straight through mid-pipe was kind of louder, had that mild ferrari tone.
  25. i cant, had the pics on my mobile just before putting it on the car, gave the phone to the missus, she only goes and deletes everything before i could upload them to the pc. well gutted, had some nice pics on that mobile.
