Just a quick question.. Does anybody here use wheel locking nuts?

We've all got these nice alloys yet haven't seen a Zed with them yet (i don't think).

Is there a reason for this?

You have to un clip all the rear panels. Be careful though, i snapped a couple of the catches being impatient. You do have to be quite rough though at the same time.

Well i got mine on.. took about 2 and a half hours. Engine light is on now though and cant get the reset procedure to work:wacko: Cant wait to try it out now, its pissing it down in Brum!

 

You may have a vacuum leak.

Did you use a torque wrench to tighten everything back up?

 

off topic: IanS16 I see you have a UK Birdview DVDROM on your signature. Did this fix the Jap Satnav and allow you to use the Jap OEM screen?

Hi mate, just bought a nissan partol DVD unit (the dvd drive behind drivers seat. Replaced the dvd drive but NOTHING else.. JDM screen etc. Only annoying thing is the Japanese buttons but its pretty obvious after a few times using it! And strangely enough quite cool

No.. i bought a plenum spacer.

Heard good things, best bang for buck performance mod etc. Might be wrong but i heard in some cases you can get an extra 10bhp and a bit of mid range torque.

Dont have a clue how it works though!

Got a motordyne plenum spacer yesterday thinking I could easily fit it myself but after looking at the instructions I realised I have no chance. My question is could any old garage fit it or is a specialist required? I'm an idiot when it comes to the technical side of cars

Just wondering if the Air inlet ducts are actually any use or if they are purely cosmetic? For a setup like the JWT pop charger do they at least cool the air?

As for getting me in a 350Z, I'd love to but can't afford one. I had a Mondeo ST24 before the SX, and absolutely loved the V6 roar, so a 350Z is right up my street, the 200 is gret for me at the moment.
