Have come across a Xanavi birdview navigation unit drive.

Anyone know if these work in JDMs?

(Tried to search this but no luck)

I did check for the chick haha.

Seems i have "squeaky pads" or something that squeak to let you know they are worn.

Or so my mechanic says

Just a quick question, 2 days ago I noticed that while driving along, there was a squeaking noise coming from my front left wheel while moving. Since then it hasnt stopped.

(It almost sounds like there is a chick under the wheel arch chirping)

I've tried to find out where the noise is coming from exactly but obviously I cant get any closer to the wheel than the driving seat while it is squeaking.

I took the car to a pressure wash and sprayed the brakes to see if it is a build up of muck but that didn't sort it. I cant see anything wrong either.

Just thought i'd see if anybody else has had this problem and i'm hoping (i have no mechanical knowledge whatsoever) that this is a dodgy brake disk or something and not a broken wheel bearing.

Any help would be much appreciated

Think i may have a few laughs aimed my way but just a quick question;

Why do superchargers have to be manufactured for a certain model (ie 350z)? Could a SC be used from another car?

Surely if I could find a SC that actually fitted under the bonnet and could get the intercooler, pulley, and discharge pipes to fit then it should work, no?

Is the SC in any way connected to the ECU to control the extra fuel needed or does it adjust accordingly?

Surely a decent SC could be aquired on the cheap from an old jag or something?

I need the DVD drive (for Sattellite Navigation) from an X Trail / Primera / 350z to replace my japanese drive in my JDM Z. Must be UK spec drive.

Will collect from anywhere in Mainland UK.

If anybody knows where to get one i would be grateful!

(not looking to buy from Nissan dealer for thousands!)

Has anybody seen one of these x-trail or primera unit around lately? I cant find one anywhere and im desperate to get my JDM setup working. Does anybody have the part number?

Does anybody know whether the car mounted camera people will be putting any footage online? Would be quite interested to see that.

Sorry to bump an old topic but yes.. my 2002 JDM has floding mirrors.

They only fold in though, they don't tilt down and just incase you are missing the button, its next to the electric mirror adjuster knob on the drivers door

Wondering how hard a DIY would be? I have a freeview box lying around in my bedroom.

Mines apparently limited to 112 but does 125. 2002 JDM import. bit annoying that the car is limited without even reaching top gear!

Just a quick question, got my z last thursday from a private seller. The car is an 02 plate and was imported by bonsai cars in 2006.

I have the black dot over the k(mph) on the speedo and the digital display says kmh but must be in mph as it matches the analogue speedo.

My question is whether the kilometers per litre and DTE are in kilometers or have also been converted to miles.

My idea is to use a PC to copy my DVDs to region free or jap region DVDs using NTSC coding. Obviously not that technical a question but wanted to know if anyone had tried it?

Hope someone can answer this?!
