  3. I have the crystal clear rear bumper lights on mine (from JDM) and L.E.D. fog light and reversing bulbs (from ESR) i fitted them originally to my standard bumper myself by taking it off completely. I didnt find the white clips difficult at all (i must have been lucky!), i used long nose pliers to get in there and twist them loose. Just a word of warning to those that are considering fitting the L.E.D. reversing bulbs when i reverse at night a cant see bugger all! i have to brake and let my L.E.D. rear lights light up the way!

    P3 SERVICE...

Right guys thanks to CS ( ) ive had a look at the service checklist and i believe the following is correct: P1, Engine Oil, Oil Filter. P2, Engine Oil, Oil Filter, Brake Fluid, Air Filter, PCV Filter, Conventional Spark Plugs, Pollen Filter. P3, Engine Oil, Oil Filter, Brake Fluid, Air Filter, PCV Filter, Conventional Spark Plugs, Pollen Filter. Like i say that info has come straight from Nissan so according to them a P2 and P3 are the same! only thing to check is what additional service items you may need as well as above see below: Fuel filter: replace every 36,000 miles (maintenance free on 350z) Antifreeze: Every 3 years or 36,000 miles whichever sooner. (not only protects against freezing, but prevents corrosion of internal engine parts) Cambelt: NA on 350z Platinum tipped spark plugs: every 5 years or 54,000 miles. Manual transmission oil: replace at 54,000 miles. The 350z uses a viscous coupling type L.S.D. so no need to change the oil Service intervals are: P1, P2, P1, P3, repeat cycle.... I thought id post this info up as it may help some of you guys in the future Ben
  7. Funny thing is when my mate came off his course of roids, he had made the decision that enough was enough and he was going to stop doing them. Mainly due to the fact that every one knew he was on them as he put on size so quickly and his mum raided his room to try and find them even though he kept telling her he was just eating really well and training extra hard! Any way when you come off a course you are supposed to take natural testosterone boosters to help stimulate your body to produce it naturally again, but because he was so skint he couldnt afford to buy any. His body really didnt react well! he had spots all over his back, arms, chest, legs everywhere but his face! And im talking big fat pussers! he had to wear long sleeved tops for about a month so his family wouldnt ask what the hell was wrong with him until his skin got better. But he spends an absolute fortune on supps and roids, i think a course of roids is about £180 a go and he goes through a tub of protein a month and they cost £35 each plus creatine as well!
  8. Magnet that could be a good idea! i might try that, i think mine has a ethernet connection. Ive had to update my blueray player 3 times in the last 6 months.
  9. Well done Mike, ill have a proper look into this later when im at home. With regards to the update, my Xbox has just come back from a little holiday to Germany after having the ring of death, so i had to do the update when i fired it up for the first time but the coloured box thing still happened.

    P3 SERVICE...

Nissan were supposed to post me a tick sheet 2 weeks ago but surprise surprise i havnt received one, i have read loads about the fact that plugs dont need changing until you hit quite high mileage so i know thats crap and Nissan even told me the first time i rang them that the plugs defo DIDNT need replacing but 2 weeks later they now do?! Ive ordered the diff oil now and to be fair my service department do have the diff oil listed on the P3 for my car so i may as well get it done now. Problem is does the gear box oil need doing also?
  11. I think you might be on the right lines. I seem to rember that there is a problem with some Samsung TVs and XB360s around HDMI. Its about the signal switching and it gets it knickers in a twist. I think the XB360 might not termiate the connection properly and so the Sammy throws a fit. Do a bit of googling, I'm sure its out there Cheers Chris your the man! that does make sense, ill see if i can find anything on the web to explain it

    P3 SERVICE...

Right i just spoke to a plank at my local Nissan dealer, he said that i need all filters replacing (air filter, pollen filter, fuel filter) spark plugs (even tho the car has only done 23k) and the obvious oil change. So i said to him, er ok what about gear box oil? and he said oh yeah all the liquids need changing as well like the coolant and brake fluid but then you would have those changed every service anyway!!!! WHAT A MUPPET! Always comforting to know that the bloody dealers know what they are talking about! Im still no closer to the answer! Can anyone help?? Sorry for the rant guys

    P3 SERVICE...

Yeah come on techies!! I need your expertise!!
  14. I think it depends on the make of strut you use as some are different lengths, i think the tein ones are the longest which is probably why if you mount them to the wing the bonnet goes quite high when opened.
  15. Tim if you cleaned the car using a mitt and bucket of water instead of a pressure washer what would you reccomend using as a pre soak before rinsing the dirt off with a hose ready for sponging?
  16. I have these and they are brilliant!! I trimmed a 'groove' out of my covers so i could still use them as i didnt like the look of all the guts underneath being exposed. I stuck some masking tape on the covers and laid the struts on them in the position they would be when the bonnet is closed and ran a pen down each side. A quick trim with metal sheers (scissors) and the bonnet closed nicely

    P3 SERVICE...

Thanks for the link Magnet only thing is they list plugs and gear box oil in a P3, the one thing Nissan did say was that i definately wouldnt need plugs? Im getting my workshop to do the labour and ive bought the oils etc from Opie, work have listed what needs doing from their computer but i just wanted to double check. The service printout lists: 1) Oil & Filter 2) Diff Oil 3) Brake Fluid 4) Coolant No mention of plugs or gearbox oil??

    P3 SERVICE...

Guys my cars due its first P3, am i right in thinking it needs Oil, Filter, Diff Oil, Brake Fluid and coolant changing?? Ive done a little bit of homework using the search button but just wanted someone in the know to clarify as Nissan didnt want to tell me when they found out i wasnt having it serviced with them! Thanks
  19. Well once the coloured boxes start flashing up it stays like it until i turn it off at the plug, ive tried pulling out the HDMI lead while its like this but it seems to just be stuck on that screen. Although i havnt tried pulling out the lead before i turn it off. My tv has 2 HDMI inputs and ive swapped the Xbox HDMI from the first to the second input but it still happens. But the tv works perfectly otherwise through Blueray and Freeview. It could be a setting on the tv thats causing it but who knows??
  20. Just thought id stick a post up about a strange problem im having with my Samsung LCD tv and my Xbox 360 Elite. Basically im running the 360 through an HDMI cable to the tv but when i turn the Xbox off the tv screen goes blank and then i get a red lined box appear on the tv for a second followed by a green lined box??? i cant change the channel or source and the only way to free the tv from this screen seems to be to turn it off at the wall and leave it for a few minutes to reset its self??? Ive been surviving by switching the source first (to freeview etc) before i switch the xbox off, but obviously its not normal, just wondering if any of you electronics guys could shed some light on how to stop it from happening??? Cheers Ben
  21. Testosterone and Growth Hormone??? you only live once!!! Two types of growth hormones bud, the natural one which re-stimulates the hormone you are naturally born with which normally slows down in producing around 21-24 years of age and is from natural herbs, these simply kick start it again or you have the HGH, human growth hormone, which is the crazy one and one I would not advise which is simply excessive amounts normally derived from other animals and this causes over time possible feature changes, jaw lines and foreheads and other bones start to grow out of proportion, you end up looking like a freak and proned to Creutzfeld-Jakob Disease CJD. the two are very very different. Testosterone tablets again is normally from natural herbs which speeds up your aggression levels thus increasing strength and endurance without many of the nasty side effects you get from chemically enhanced drugs like steroids. Except with testosterone enhancers you are likely to speed up baldness and suffer from acne like a teenager does when going through phases of adulthood. Best way, stick with all natural base stuff, only thing I touch is protein and omega oils, it got me into Mens Health magazine in 2004, so it cant be bad staying natural and feel healthy. To many people I know go down the quick route of steroids and HGH and have regretted it. If you are a bodybuilder fair enough, but if you are doing it for the ladies.... its very rare to find a lady who wants a big muscle bound vein popping steroid head with a bad attitude You are so right Jay! I have a mate who takes roids and hes massive, but he only does it because hes insecure and he tells everyone hes not taking them but everyone knows he is, he thinks looking massive will get him more girls and to be fair he gets alot of attention but he never has a girlfriend because only a few girls like really big guys!
  22. Supplements are a multimillion pound industry, and to be fair it's each to their own when it comes to results and brands as everyones body reacts differently to them and to the stimulus of resistance training. I've been buying my supps from affordablesupplements.co.uk for years as the stock pretty much everything, they are cheaper than everyone else and it's free postage. Not only that but I always get 10% discount as I used to be a member of the lancer register club, I could drop them an email to see if I could arrange the same discount for us on here if anyone interested??
  23. yep it's crapping it down!! I turned back, I feel sorry for you guys who travelled a long way. Looks like you didn't miss out in the end mark!
  24. Ill be there getting there for 6:30! Keep an eye out for the Blue Beast!
  25. cheers gixxer for the reccomendation, am I right in thinking that some of you guys just use normal shampoo to produce a foam? does anyone know if I used a snowfoam product in a pump gun as opposed to a lance and it didn't produce the shaving foam affect would the product still work to remove the dirt and grime without the foam??
