  1. I'd colour code your garage doors, would look great.
  2. I considered doing this then thought of any magnetic effects it might have and thought I could have ended up causing even more damage Macca
  3. Don't watch this if you're squeamish. It's Eduardo da Silva's broken leg from the match yesterday, just a picture slideshow. What punishment do you think the guy should get for this? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RpHufZEaFe0 Macca
  4. Washed my mums micra, my astra van, my Z and then my girlfriends cooper S today, then it rained. Can't win at this time of year I'm afraid. Just a month or 2 (probably 4) left hopefully, then loadsa sunshine! Macca
  5. Just thought everyone would like a quick giggle at my expense.... Bought 4 of the silver capped indicator bulbs and decided to fit them today. Rear ones took me maybe 15 to 20 minutes to fit, couldn't be much simpler than it is. Front ones however, could have been alot easier than I made it. After spending 15 minutes working out if there was a way to do it without removing the front bumper and taking the headlight out, I discovered there's a small opening where you can actually reach the front indicator, but not the main headlight bulb, bonus I thought. Twisted the lamp holder out of the main housing and with a bit of fiddling I managed to get it out in the open and pull the lamp out and put my new one in, lowered it back into the unit and voila, finished. Not quite. Mum in the garden at the time says, "have you tried it?" "no" I replied. Great that your mum can tell you something you ought to do with your car that you haven't thought about doing isn't it? So anyway, flick the indicator on, and look at the side repeater on the way round and it's flashing twice as fast, front not flashing at all. Great. I unscrew the lamp holder to realise I haven't pushed the wedge all the way into the lamp holder. While trying to pull the lamp holder out gently the bulb falls out and rolls right into the bottom of the main light housing. Crap. So to cut an even longer story short, I had to remove the whole front bumper, take the light housing completely off the car and drop the bulb back through the hole it sits in adding god knows how long to what could have been a short process The irony of all this? I'm an electrician by trade and couldn't even fit a bulb Macca
  6. Looks like he was about to write that zed off at the end of clip3, unless that car was further away than it looked
  7. Which 5Zigen exhaust are you talking about or is there only one model they do? Is there a big price difference between the two and is the 5Zigen supplied with the same parts as the Nismo, i.e Y pipe mid section and cat back? Macca
  8. Great pictures, what camera do you use? Can't believe you've done over 1000 miles and only managed one picture of your car Macca
  9. Nah it isn't that which I have. It's just a megs Clay bar kit, but it includes the quick detailer and a wax with it. I'll give it a go as you say and see how it comes up anyway Macca
  10. Its the 3 step stuff I have I think, quick detailer, clay bar and cleaner wax, so guess I just wash then go through this whole kit Hadn't realised it had the wax in with it. Was going to use the autoglym super resin polish I had but I'll use this megs stuff instead! Macca
  11. Just picked up a meguiars clay bar kit this morning. I'm going to go and wash the car now but do I use the clay bar straight after the wash, then polish it or just leave it as it is after I've clay barred without doing the polish? Macca
  12. Quit it with inspecting the car eh!? Yeah it is, need to change em, the fronts aren't too good either, smears easily when starting up early in morning with the mist on it, dunno if it's grease on wiper or when i bought the car they got wax on the window. Either way they're on my list of stuff to sort out. Any recomendations on what to get rather than popping to halfords and buying whatever they have? Macca
  13. Seriously, what is it with peoples descriptions of their items on Ebay? Would anyone here genuinely give a guy who can't even spell 'my' correctly $21,000 for his car? Hell, he probably doesn't even own it! I can appreciate some people suffer from dyslexia and what not but that's ridiculous.
  14. Welcome I'm fairly new myself but my recomendation if you want to learn alot about the 350Z is read over posts new and old on these forums, you can learn a massive amount even from posts dating back over a year. There's people on here I swear know more about the car than the people that built it! Macca
  15. Sent you an email Phil Forgot to put a subject on it though!
  16. You really are lazy. I'd have asked here too though... Macca
  17. Makes me want to sell mine. I bought the car at xmas and the price I paid included a full refurb on all the wheels so they're in mint condition, 2 brand new tyres on front and half worn on the back. Makes me wonder what I could get if those are going for 450. Thing is finding a cash buffer to buy some new wheels and sell these. Don't know if I could get new ones before knowing I could definately sell my Rays for 500+ Macca
  18. Pics look massive like that, probably want to downgrade my resolution, stoopid 10mp camera Macca
  19. L22 UST is the one in the Topgear review magazine but thats a sunset. Copycat reg me thinks
  20. Just to say thanks to phil at ESR for my Z badges, fitted em this weekend, I think they look great. Pics: 2 Points to note - Stubby aerial on its way, secondly, it flooded here not long ago so that's why there's sandbags. I don't live in Beirut! Macca
  21. Trader called Bigphil on here has clear reflectors coming in next week so contact him if you want some, great service, I'm getting a set. Email him at: eastshoreracing@btinternet.com Macca
  22. May as well get one bud, I fought it for a while and gave in. Works fine where you are. I'm fighting it, i'm fighting.......... Seriously though, whats wrong with the original one?? Apparently it can cause small children to cry at a range of 100 yards.....
  23. Look great. I'm supprised I'm first to say this with so many replies being made already - buy a stubby! I succumbed to buying 1 last night off ebay. Macca
  24. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Genuine-Nissan-35 ... dZViewItem Only one I've seen. Like you I fancy one too but I really can't justify the price of them
  25. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/nissan-350z-gt-ec ... dZViewItem I've met 4 year olds that could write a better item description than that. Apparently the rest of the car is burnt out on the m62 with motorway recovery there at the moment! Mr Nissan is very, very, displeased.
