The temperature seems to have dropped substancially here this morning - very very cold outside -a mist/fog over the river but clear skies so hopefully the sun will start to warm everything up Wonder how our southern cousins are doing think they had the worst yesterday?

Very nice I love trees covered in snow with that blue sky. Husky had some nice pics at his parents over Christmas it's that crisp skyyou can't beat it. Will shut up before I get told off for boring everyone

I was referring mainly to teachers in primary schools alot of their material is written in cm so they dont have much choice. For the general public its easier to understand cm though, i can see why its used alot. its not a hard conversion though Can you picture in your mind when say estimating how big something will be for example? Is'nt 12cm easier to visualise than 120mm? Then again I find feet and inches easier to visualise than cm but thats what you get used to I suppose!
