  1. Well you have to give the guy A+ for effort and the dedication that must have gone into making that erm thing but its personal taste is'nt it? So if he likes it good on him? Its like those people that customise Bedford Vans still with teardrop windows in the rear panels and shagpiile carpet inside
  2. Be careful Stan, it starts with Nismo stuff and ends up in Can see you in it on the next Wales trip Noooooooooooooooooooooooo Just a nice set of wheels thats really allI need - I like it as it came out of the factory to be fair - thats why I spent a fortune buying it Anyway when are you going to the next meet - not seen you about for ages? Still got that Whiskey tasting stuff at the Fishermans retreat - I test drove my Zed up there and it was fine - they have even tarmaced the road now http://www.fishermansretreat.com/whisky.php
  3. Ahem when I was leeckle I made a scale quarter mile drag strip and used to mod Amercian muscle car models from Revel and transfer the bodies onto a good ol blightly Scalextrix model runnign gear - hmmm sure I still have those bits somewhere?? Hmmm tempting...... the cat would be freaked out though!
  4. Thanks folks will see how it looks on weekend when I hope to clean it - subject to snow!! In the UK they get booked for an unsecure load which explains why we see so many builders artefacts on the motorways such a buckets, planks of wood, bricks, bags of cement and one instance a set of full length 13ft ladders in the fast lane!! They never stop to pick them up as they would get booked!
  5. Its what?!!!! That is so funny! -3 here tonight And i am out at 6 in the morning Winter as come way to quick. my son has his final commando test tomorrow, 30 miles yomp across dartmoor with an 8 1/2 hr time limit, carrying full day kit Blimey!! I dont envy him - BUT!! and this is a big BUT!! He's gonna have to be better at hiding than that - I mean you managed to take a picture of him and he did'nt notice Frost this morning and fog on the river - but Bob and Marge my adopted Swans are back so thats good - bet they have cold bottoms!
  6. matey - If you can get yourself to the Wales run - you will see all the Zeds you ever wanted to hopefully by then you will have your own but if not dont worry be good to have you pop over your very welcome!
  7. To any newbies out there - its well worth going - been to the 2 this year and they are great days - its best as a 2 day event for the people that have to travel any distance and anyone locally maybe join in some overnight or afternoon shenanigans! Sunday flies past very quickly so best to meet and greet soon as you can
  8. Dont worry mate I dont have anything in my pockets except empty sweet wrappers
  9. Damn it man not you as well - look park mine in your garage for a few weeks and I will use your shiny red number for work - soon build up your miles for you - needs a good gentle run-in on motorways!!
  10. Mods so far: Costco floor mats from previous car Elasicated netting from previous car Cd's from previous car New wiper blades Falken tyres Pitting on front bumper - took me no time at all to make that mod! Dear Santa would like : Nismo exhaust + Nismo alloys like Uncle Colins!
  11. Yes Bronzee we are very passionate about Zeds and about road tax and fuel bills and clicking axles and duff Nissan dealers!!

  13. 1 day for me (only because I live up the road!) How about a proper cake stop off point again! (he he he)
  14. SH**!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lexx That must have scared the hell out of her - hope she is ok mate? I've had a narrow miss with a house brick a long time ago but saw it fall off the wagon in front and bounce across the lanes - I had time to move out of the way (you have lots of time in a Beetle!!) Hope she can claim something for that - trouble is when it happens your in such a state you just want to pull over and check everything is still intact - like your nerves!!! No time to take number plates is there? A lot of these wagons only have half an attempt at a cover on top and the canvas flaps about! Up the road from where I work some scumbag kids dropped a flag from a road bridge - hit the windscreen of a passing ambulance and killed the driver !!f**** bar****s !!!!
  15. Nope think I prefer my nuts naturally chrome! But what they hell we cant all have the same ,life would be boring!
  16. Step away from the white rims !! Get silver or even black but not white - looks a bit cheap if I am really honest? Would look ok on a white Zed though? But.....if you like them you buy them - its your car at the end of the day matey
  17. Wondering when the club will be buying these in bulk! Damn they only do green and orange - no Night Blue?
  18. +1 Too right - keep the devil worshipping in the states - we have Gordon Brown thats enough evil for anyone!
  19. Tim always have an emergency bun stashed - if you need it! Sorry to hear that Digsy - get yourself a cheeky little JDM for a bag of peanuts then - keep the flag flying!
  20. I'm driving up to thurso today too!! STOO Hero!! Hope you dont have Bridgestones on!!
  21. Yo Tim - where have you been?? Can I borrow yours so I can keep the miles down on mine! Purchased March 7.5K on the clock - now on 29K by end of week!! Its expensive but as mentioned the return per mile for smile is priceless! You want to get your name down for the Jockland Hoon - that will put the miles on a bit!
  22. SNOW!!!???!! 1 degree - frost and fog over the river - bit of an odd combination! Thank goodness for heated seats!
  23. Thanks mate - lets see when I wash it ! Front bumper I have been told £300 - £600 depending on the place - but I am sure you can get it done a lot cheaper if you shop around - DO NOT go to Nissan to get it done! When you have it done make sure they put a thicker layer or paint on - so at least you have a bit more meat on there for next time!
