  1. Very nice, I really like that. So thats about 10 grand in proper money. :p

You English deserve a price break since you have to drive on the wrong side of the road and car :p:p:p

  2. There's a significant amount of poorer people in the county I live in. It's pretty much the business owners and management and then the minimum wage workers on the other side. I get a lot of animosity towards my Z. I wouldn't dare leave it alone at the mall or Wal-Mart. It would be keyed for sure.

The socialist liberals have used the class envy card quite handily this election year and everyone is all whipped up. My town made national news today as the white hot point of unemployment. We topped the nation in unemployment.

On second thought maybe I should garage the Z and buy me a proper beater. I'm thinking a Honda

  3. Great to see you still remember us, the kettles on :D

I'm still here. I don't have a computer at home (yeah, I know. Even the blind have home computers) so the only time I get to play is when I'm at work

Work has been hectic so I get to play less. Looks like I need to find a new job :p

  4. thanks for the info.

can you explain about the flooding issues?

my other previous car, celica 190 had less torque i think.

had a look at one today for the first time, all round quite nice. rear seats are handy.

it's similar to the s2000, with the floor plan coming up at drivers side, but not as bad.

also had a look at early 350z today, the tt, zed, rx8 completely all different cars

As far as flooding goes there's a major "no no" with the 8. Do not start it up and then shut it off. The engine has to get up to normal operating temperature before you shut it off or the plugs get soaked in petrol and it won't start. I had a 8 for 4 years and never had any issues with it.

Also, fuel mileage is poor. The very best I ever got on the highway was 19 mpg. I usually got around 13 in town. :headhurt:

  5. Good write-up, but the price compared to what we in Britain are going to have to pay is sickening

Yep, if it was £38K over here I'd have one (well as soon as the ebay sales of GF and kidney went through).

GT-R's are going for well over sticker over here. About the cost of a nice single story family home. I'd have to sell both kidneys and lungs :headhurt:

  6. just drove past my local mazda garage and there must be no less than 10 rx-8's on the front. good car for the cash, borrowed my mates for about 2 months last year. i just found the lack of torque frustrating and the mpg was worse than my 147 gta which i had at the time and that is saying something!!

Couldn't agree more. I just told my dad and brother yesterday that those were the two biggest reason I love my Zed so much. Gobs of torque and great mpg without even trying. It's such a satisfying, well-rounded sports car.

  7. the alloys are from a lexus gs 300 sport made by TTE, perfect fit for the supra , stocks are awfull lol

I thought they looked familiar. Good point on the stock wheels
