  1. but gunmetal sounds a lot cooler i was at the opposing lights having just come down rose lane, just went to allerton to see about a house thats up for sale on jericho lane, what a bloody nightmare it is buying a house! I think i'll wait a few years and spend all my money on the zed instead you keeping hold of yours then digsy? thought you were getting rid?
  2. 1 was parked up along Rose Lane. and the other was at the lights at the junction coming out of Jericho Lane. Was about 1:30 PM today I felt as common as muck for a split second, seeing two identical cars as mine within 5 mins of eachother.
  3. Here's a few of a mates Skyline body shell, working lights and stuff! Looks ace!
  4. yours looks 1/10th and it has working front/rear lights, although they are just not hooked up yet. looks huge in that first photo in comparison to those feet!
  5. I'd be worried about the body work with it being so close to the exhaust...
  6. Wow, Iam in shock I usually never win competitions! Thanks martin!

    short shifter

I now realise what the auction meant by 'looks the bollocks'. I first read it as if somebody would have stepped in my zed and remarked "hey bro, sweet short shifter". But now I realise the auctioneer was talking about the overall finish of the product.

  10. "you are bidding a brand new short shifter kit for a nissan 350z it comes with all the parts you need for easy fit and can decrease the gear change up to 40% the kit is made from good quality steel and looks the b*****ks" - how can a short shifter 'look' the bollocks? would anyone recommend getting a short shifter fitted?
  11. Yeh the R8 didn't float my boat either, the place was littered with them as well! The Evo X gave me a raging hard on
  12. Here's some pics I managed to take, starting off with a few Zed's Wasn't impressed by the interior of the R8. The new impreza looked PANTS! And the Evo X was an absolute monster of a car.
  13. Simply wow, I see a lot in your collections which I grew up playing with as a kid. my fave was always hot rod, I used to love those little holographic stickers you got on them which you could rub and they'd change colour according to temperature. Sadly the only remnant of my childhood toys I have now is a few lego technic kits and... my optimus prime which i got as a present off my parents for swimming a full length at the swimming baths! Can any of you transformers experts tell me whether or not this is from the first gen of releases or the second? didn't the first have a metal cabin? .. this one had a smaller version of optimus that you insert in the grill on the front of the truck.. which I've sadly lost.
  14. That's a beauty mate. Shame we hadn't a meet before you're getting rid though.
  15. Yes indeed that would have more than likely be me. Goin shopping at Tescos with the missus My first spotted wooo
  16. I quite like carbon fibre as an supplementary colour, it's not exactly cheap or cheap looking. The carbon bonnet (in my opinion) suits gunmetal better than other zed colours as it is darker and less contrasting. That second pic does look pretty sweet what with the tints and black alloys.
  17. Nah she was morbid with a complexion of stone. ... I didn't have my exhausts polished when I saw her though.. hmmm
  18. Yea I think there's a few of us over this way, Digsy I think said he's from Aigburth as well. We should all get a meet on in the new year I often see a few Zed's passing, a Gunmetal 54 plate, a Silver, and two Blacks - one female, and one male driver. Although they are all moody barstewards when I let on!
  19. I'm at Aigburth (Liverpool), which is where I live/work, but gf and folks and home is in Royton Manchester so am over that way usually a few days a week as well.
  20. Yea it's good stuff that steel wool. The really fine stuff is like cotton wool, so it doesn't scratch or do anything bad to the metal. Would be good for use on alloys as well, for like getting brake dust and crap off.
