Well after two weeks in the bodyshop and after alot of late nights and weekend work the car finally got finished at around 7pm last night ready for ISTS today!!! Its been a rush to have it ready for today and luckily the bulk of the work was completed just a few other little touches that need to be done, which will be all sorted for wales next month Mods Done include : ~ Nismo V2 front bumper with carbon lip and black pin-striping, Behind grill all sprayed matt black ~ Nismo side skirts which were fully smoothed ~ Nissan OEM power buldge bonnet Colour coded underneath also ~ Retrackable front number plate (madmarky's favourite mod ) ~ Stillen engine damper colour coded orange ~ Popcharger stainless end cap colour coded orange ~ Popcharger heatshield polished to mirror finish with stainless polished bolts ~ Bonnet brackets colour coded with stainless polished bolts ~ Racing toeing eye colour coded orange ~ General clean and polish off engine Heres the finished article (apart from the lacquered roof) enjoy

was never going to leave the lines in buddy with the 07 bonnet was only if i kept the older bonnet with lines in i was thinking about it

well the good news guys is that the tickets are here bad news (for me) car might not be ready!!! So were meeting in the large car park just before the pay gates at 8 - 8.15 so please try your best not to be late guys!! ill send you all my number that havent got it so call me if any problems Tickets This was the car at 7pm tonight needing the bonnet and wings to be mopped up tommorrow and with the bumper still in need of a fair amount of work just smoothing out any imperfections not even had any primer yet!! if its done for sunday it'll be a bloody miracle!!!

No mate its carbon and it'll be on show with a gloss black mouth and mesh not hiding that carbon with the price off it

great write up buddy!!! just fine tuning mine at the minute making the bracket even stronger so will have more pics up soon and wanting to try and keep it as tight as i can to the middle bar so the gap is less noticable

right guys tickets havent arrived today so think it may be abit risky to send them out thursday if they come tommorrow while im at work! so is everyone ok to meet up at 8 to 8.15 to give ourselves enough time to get set up!! id appreciate it if we could all be at the car park at silverstone (which i shall give more details about when i get the tickets) no later than 8.15 as i dont want to keep having to come back every 5mins mins to let people in while im cleaning my car if you havent arrived by 8.15 (ish) ill see if i can leave the tickets with the guys on the entrance but might not be a good idea but im sure you lot will be there on time you watch ill be late now

Not sure yet scott as the tickets havent arrived with all the info in place but if you aim to be there between 8 and 8.15 you can meet some off us who are going down together at half 6 on junc 27 off the M1 if you want

glad you sorted it mate i once shut my door with the keys in the ignition while cleaning under the engine bay and you'l hear a dull bleep come on after a very short time and the car locked its self!! luckily iv got a spare key and another full red master key so wasnt a problem

Just spotted this thread, alot of guys will give you a long list off specific brands and certain things to use, I'd reccomend starting with degreaser then just getting in with small brushes and just alot of elbowgrease! Alot will frown at this but my secret ingredient was thinners which most will thing I'm crazy for using!But it works great! Problem is once you start you can never stop Because the bits you haven't done stand out more and it gets to the point where the bits you just can't get to really p!££ you off! I spent most off yesterday sanding bits off metal that were heavily corroded or oil stained which most people will never notice iv done, now that is sad but it looks good

Yeah it's all colour coded under there dan bloody finger ends were sore after keying it up, just wish I could have got all my bits done for ists

I'll post the tickets out if I get them by weds if not we'll all have to try and meet down there at the same time
