  3. Well sky rung me today and asked how there quote was I said it had been beaten (it hadn't) so they came back with £650 and £300 excess that's £440 cheaper than renewal and £80 better than last year, happy days

  6. no not at all buying them isnt the problem its fitting them as there a pain to get in

Standard sidelight bulbs look prity crap so went for some LED ones off ebay to match the xenons but they last for about a month and gone through a few sets now so tried some phillips 'blue' bulbs but they werent that different to the standard ones. Just wondered if anyone had found some decent bulbs that give the light blue look without being chavvy

  19. As the subject suggests its time for renewal and the figure i paid last year has risen around £350 good job i was sat down or i would have fell over. Im with Aplan at the moment who were the best for me last year and ill try the usual suspects chris knott, sky, aldrian flux, performance direct, etc etc again this year. Problem for me is that due to the level off mods on the car (and i inform them of every single one) this drastically reduced the amount of firms willing to insure me and put the car back to how it is now in the case of a claim so forget admiral, elephant, direct line etc there not interested as soon as you mention the amount of mods. Not sure if any of you guys with plenty of mods have found it a struggle to get a reasonable quote in the last few months, be good to here how you'v found it and what companies have helped you out the most
