insurance sorted with sky £712 with all mods insured

All insurance companies I spoke with so it's always cheaper in the garage

It's got to be cheaper in a garage try like for like just changing garage and street parking and see what happens

£712 iv been quoted from sky with all mods declared and a £350 excess

Result from sky £380 cheaper than my renewal with Aplan but still only makes it £30 quid cheaper than last year still a event result

He tells me it's not long since changed, ok a young in me grant it's the building sites that age me

4/5 mods are no problem for the companies to insure its when you'v got a list with 25/30 on

As the subject suggests its time for renewal and the figure i paid last year has risen around £350 good job i was sat down or i would have fell over. Im with Aplan at the moment who were the best for me last year and ill try the usual suspects chris knott, sky, aldrian flux, performance direct, etc etc again this year. Problem for me is that due to the level off mods on the car (and i inform them of every single one) this drastically reduced the amount of firms willing to insure me and put the car back to how it is now in the case of a claim so forget admiral, elephant, direct line etc there not interested as soon as you mention the amount of mods. Not sure if any of you guys with plenty of mods have found it a struggle to get a reasonable quote in the last few months, be good to here how you'v found it and what companies have helped you out the most

I use a local garage near clowne only 45mins from you and they do a great job for reasonable money pm if you want some details but they'd have to see the car

Problem that I had was you do a few little mods under the bonnet, then think well i can't show them off as the rest looks rubbish so it was wasted money so by the end you'v done everything possible. That's what I found anyway

Like Martin said it's just using the right products and spending alot off time in here, looks like it's coming along nicely
