  1. Guys, any tips on how to sell my Range please? I've had it on Auto Trader, Piston Heads, eBay and i've not had a sniff. It's been up for sale on and off for over 6 months, i've probably spent about £180 advertising it. I've had it for sale at a lower price than this too and still no interest at all (i was worried the low price was putting people off). Here's the current AT add. https://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201801112655911?maximum-mileage=200000&year-to=2010&minimum-badge-engine-size=3.5&onesearchad=Used&onesearchad=Nearly New&onesearchad=New&make=LAND ROVER&sort=price-asc&radius=40&advertising-location=at_cars&postcode=st86bw&model=RANGE ROVER SPORT&fuel-type=Diesel&page=1 There are cheaper RRS's out there, but within 50 miles of me i'm about the 5th cheapest out of cars with my spec.
  2. Yeah been reading similar stories, but planning to tyre pen them when they get to that stage i reckon. Gloss black stripes, mirrors and roof coming soon, if i can get a wrapping company to phone me back (tried two but still no joy).
  3. Honda Crossroad. Had to google. Every days a school day!
  4. I picked my new Mustang up in March. I've had it 6 weeks and only done about 500 miles in it so far. It's starting to loosen up and feel more comfortable on the road, and so far i'm very happy. I've ordered several minor cosmetic mods this week, the first of which arrived today thanks to Tarmac Sportz. Here it is when it was delivered to the dealer, and after it's first detail at home. And here's the first mod going on...! I've only done one wheel so far, will do the rest at the weekend. I know these are marmite for some people, but given this is an American car i feel I can get away with this, and some of the other things i've got planned. It was a pretty easy job, and only took about 45 minutes.
  5. Actually, i did want to put up a couple of pics... during the flight, somewhere over Russia, aurora borealis made an appearance for about 30 minutes. This is literally as clear as i could see it out of the window!
  6. Ah amazing...! That's the one thing I missed out on that i really wanted to do was to see Mt Fuji. I was pretty gutted.
  7. Ha ha. Yeah, I dont really do facial expressions.
  8. I made this video on my phone on the flight home. Yes its a bit weird sharing all my holiday photos but its easier than picking out the highlights to upload...
  9. Well, if you insist... i'll put some up (not taken them off my camera yet!).
  10. We stayed in fairly cheap places and ate at modest restaurants for the most part. Had a couple of nice meals and one nights in a posh place which wasnt worth it (£250 for one night). Total cost for us including spending money was about £4250 Flights - £1200 Hotels - £1200 Trains - £500 Spends - £1350 Don't go in summer though, it'll be unbearably hot. Spring or Autumn would be perfect.
  11. Mustang-itis has kicked in, and i've ordered my first couple of mods. Will post pics once they're on. First off is a red vinyl kit for the tail lights. For some strange reason, the taillights are clear/white in europe, and red in the USA. The red looks far better imho, and a vinyl kit is the best solution apparently, unless I want to buy a US set of rear lights at approx £1500. Second one is a bit marmite, but on an American car I think it'll look great - i've gone for a set of Treadwear tyre letters from Tarmac Sportz - to say Pirelli PZero.
  12. Hey guys, Just wanted to drop in and say thanks to those of you who commented with useful info. We got back from Japan last weekend, and had an amazing time. Some of the highlights we saw, the majority of which were suggested by you guys were as follows, and Col, you were spot on with Sumimasen - this was the main word we spoke whilst there. Tokyo: Senso-Ji Temple Asakusa Akihabara Meiji Jingu Shrine Harajuku Shibuya (and scramble crossing of course) Government Metropolitan Building (for the views) Lost in Translation Bar (Park Hyatt Tokyo - it cost £75 for 2 drinks, but we were seated at the Bill Murray/Scar Jo table so worth every penny!) Kyoto: Nara, Todai-Ji Temple and the 60ft Buddha Nijo Castle Kinkaku-ji Shrine (The gold one) Arashiyama Bamboo Forest and Monkeys We also stayed in a Ryokan for one night, and had a few trips to the Onsen at a couple of our hotels. It was bloody brilliant.
  13. Mine would be quantity rather than quality I think... Mustang Mustang + New Range Rover Sport Mustang + New Range Rover Sport + 981 Cayman Mustang + New Range Rover Sport + 981 Cayman + G-Wagen Mustang + New Range Rover Sport + 981 Cayman + G-Wagen + 60's Mustang Mustang + New Range Rover Sport + 981 Cayman + G-Wagen + 60's Mustang + Ferrari 458
