  1. The GM (AU56***) was me. I was also there for the late afternoon sessions on Monday and Tuesday. I have a Jahreskarte and the car has done 250 - 300 slowish laps in the last 3 years with absolutely reliability. I am also part-owner of a stripped and prepped classic Scoobie as a dedicated 'ring toy. It wasn't ready last weekend because it's having a new Cosworth-built engine fitted. We're hoping for about 550 bhp which should give some of those Porkers a fright!
  2. I've now done over 1,000 miles on the Michelin Pilot Super Sports and loving them. Very quiet, good feel, bags of grip. The only things still to discover are what they're like in the wet and how well they'll last.
  3. Thanks for your offer Tarmac. Ideally I'd like to get one and have it fitted and possibly another remap done by 29/4/2011. Probably impossible but gotta try. If nobody has one in the UK I'll get back to you.
  4. Urgently wanted a Motordyne MREV2 Lower Plenum, new or second hand. Would like to find one in UK otherwise will have to order from USA.
  5. Michelin Pilot Super Sports are now available. I had a set fitted to my 350Z yesterday. First impressions are very good.
  6. I've got a couple of Falken FK452's and a couple of Michelin PS2's. Both sets are 225/45/18. All are 3-4mm and undamaged. I'm asking £20 per tyre. Can be collected near Norwich.
  7. Fit KW Variant 3 coilovers and Cusco ARBs. The improvement is incredible. Handles like it's on rails!
  8. http://www.pistonheads.com/news/default ... ryId=19832 This looks great and it's for a good cause. I'm signed up already.
  9. This is all pure BS. The number of kids with NOS is really small and most would not now how to set it up properly. So it's BANG, oh dear what's happened? It's just another insurance company excuse to do us all over, young and old! Yes, young drivers are more likely to crash and their insurance premiums should reflect this but highlighting NOS is a red herring.

    brake fluid

This is where I get my ATE Super Blue brake fluid:- http://www.performanceoilsltd.co.uk/per ... ducts.html
  11. Should have been 9,000 then 18,0000 then 27,000 miles surely?
  12. Not for me. There is so much better available.
  13. Marshalls of Cambridge - Good. They had no objections to me supplying my own oil (Silkolene Pro S) and no comments on the JWT Popcharger. No crap about it will invalidate my warranty, etc.
  14. Yesterday I received my DBA slotted discs (front 2-piece and rear 1-piece). Excellent service from CS, (Thank you). I'll be fitting them the weekend after next. I'll also be fitting DS2500 pads, braided brake lines and ATE Super Blue brake fluid. After I've bedded in the pads, I'll report performance. I'm expecting a significant improvement as my current set-up is definitely past its best.
  15. Definitely more than a handful!
  16. Hi CS, I have a 2006 Coupe GT with factory fit Brembos. The car has done approximately 25,000 miles and my brakes are showing signs of giving up the ghost! Hoping I have the right part numbers, please PM me with your best prices for front 2-piece slotted discs DBA5600BLKL and DBA5600BLKR, plus rear 1-piece slotted discs DBA4601SL and DBA4601SR. I plan to run these with Endless CC-R pads. Do you have any comments on this combination? I'm looking for a set up for fast road, occasional track day and several visits to the Nordschleife later this year. Thanks!
  17. I'm shocked to hear this news. Hoping that Phil recovers. He's a really decent man. I shall be thinking of him and his family.
  18. 1999 Honda Accord Coupe 3.0i as daily driver. 2000 Renault Kangoo 1.4 to take trash to the corporation tip. 350z for weekends, high days and holidays, and Nordschleife, etc.
  19. Cusco ARB's front and rear with KW Variant 3's are are great combo. Makes it drive like it should have done in the first place!
  20. Just give me a sensible dipstick PLEASE!!!!!

    Spacers question

I've got KW V3 suspension with car slightly lowered. So, if I add 20mm spacers will I still have sufficient clearance?
