My alternative was to go find a good garage in Surrey but have yet to find once that truly knows the 350z's... Some have spoken about TGM, but Tom's very much a Honda DC5 kinda guy..
If you find one of these - please let me know

Not sure if you guys have seen this, it's a few years old but shows a comparison between different filter types on filtration and any power gains.
Looking at the figures the standard inlet/filter must be pretty restrictive to give the gains just by swapping filters.
http://www.mkiv.com/techarticles/filters_test/2/
And the Revspeed original test (in Japanese) http://www.mkiv.com/techarticles/filter ... index.html
I went for an Apexi filter based on this test actually. Its not the loudest, but very happy with it. Was about £130 I think

I'm in for October.....if it still is October?! Confused!

Welcome BTW!

Seach will come up with lots on insurance. Give SkyInsurance a call, they were excellent for me

Rented a diesel van at the weekend, in fairness it wasn't bad until I filled it up and someone had managed to spill/leak diesel all over the pump handle. Hands stank for hours!

Its very hard to get extra bhp out of the Z
If the accepted mantra is true (I have no opinion), the ECU dials out gains from the normal mods that people make.
Your best bets for first mods might be
-plenum spacer (better mid range torque)
-high flow exhaust ( better escape = better response)
-CAI (nice noise)
+1 you have to spend a lot of money to get a NA car there. Piggyback ECU and rolling road cost starts at around £1k I believe.

Unfortunately away for this, as sounds great

What's the status guys?
-
As an alternative, have a look on YouTube for the standard system on hi-flo cats, some of them sound great
-
Thanks Gaz, these sound like they are the very first batch, do they come with a warantee from you? Cheers

Just spoken to Rob. The limiting factor is the size of the pitch. The organisers cant sell a ticket if there isnt the space.
Rob cant work out if another car will fit until those with tickets are parked up.
Best advice is turn up and enjo the day, Rob will do what he can
Will head over and see you guys during the day
....cleaning tomorrow then!

Hey guys, having thought I had plans for the weekend....I now dont...am I too late to get hold of a club ticket?

Welcome bud, Option 2 for me, plenty of traders to sort you out with the kit and depending on where you are, probably some good advice of spray and fit

Unfortunate to hear some of you couldnt get a quote from Sky.
Danny just gave me a very competitive quote that I took up. From my experience, a great company to deal with

No School like the old School! Love these, not sure on the colour but would definately love to own one...though reliability may prevent it being a daily driver

Exige is a great package thats for sure, but for me, Noble all the way. Decision from the heart, not the head!

I'm finding it interesting that most people think you need a huge engine.....
Austin Healey Sprint?!

Ok..
leftfield and gutless... but tuneable.. possibly will only ever be worth more than you pay as well.. and you can get the backend out by just looking at these -
1983 ford capri 1.6 laser - One on autotrader at 995quid... !
1979 2.0ghia mk4 ford cortina (manual) in bright orange.. looks ok .. 500 quid !
Especially the orange 'tina.. class.. pure class..
+1 surely V6 Sierra must be a few hundred.
On the principle of big engine and rwd... how about a smokey old Jag V12!

Sounds good....if a little secret squirrel!
UK 370z Special Edition
in 370z General
Posted
+1 saw it at Goodwood. Assumed it was a promotional car, not some form of special edition. Was nice to sit in the 370, and indeed my first look at one in the metal. Busy interior not necesarily a good thing, but overall very nice. Dont think I could be tempted in to one as a new car......the GTR that was next to it though.....
