  1. It does exist, theres an article on PH and saw one at Goodwood. Also after having now seen a 370 in the flesh I love it!! :p I cant believe how much they've upgraded the interior.

+1 saw it at Goodwood. Assumed it was a promotional car, not some form of special edition. Was nice to sit in the 370, and indeed my first look at one in the metal. Busy interior not necesarily a good thing, but overall very nice. Dont think I could be tempted in to one as a new car......the GTR that was next to it though..... :cloud9:

  2.

My alternative was to go find a good garage in Surrey but have yet to find once that truly knows the 350z's... Some have spoken about TGM, but Tom's very much a Honda DC5 kinda guy..

If you find one of these - please let me know

  3. Not sure if you guys have seen this, it's a few years old but shows a comparison between different filter types on filtration and any power gains.

Looking at the figures the standard inlet/filter must be pretty restrictive to give the gains just by swapping filters.

And the Revspeed original test (in Japanese) http://www.mkiv.com/techarticles/filter ... index.html

I went for an Apexi filter based on this test actually. Its not the loudest, but very happy with it. Was about £130 I think

  4. Its very hard to get extra bhp out of the Z

If the accepted mantra is true (I have no opinion), the ECU dials out gains from the normal mods that people make.

Your best bets for first mods might be

-plenum spacer (better mid range torque)

-high flow exhaust ( better escape = better response)

    -CAI (nice noise)

+1 you have to spend a lot of money to get a NA car there. Piggyback ECU and rolling road cost starts at around £1k I believe.

  5. Ok..

leftfield and gutless... but tuneable.. possibly will only ever be worth more than you pay as well.. and you can get the backend out by just looking at these -

    1983 ford capri 1.6 laser - One on autotrader at 995quid... !

1979 2.0ghia mk4 ford cortina (manual) in bright orange.. looks ok .. 500 quid !

Especially the orange 'tina.. :) class.. pure class..

+1 surely V6 Sierra must be a few hundred.
