Would like to point out that Esso (exxon) and BP aren't one company if thats what was suggested.
I'm not in support of the tax increase, but we should also be mindful of the fact that the pound is very weak, effectivly making the barrel of oil (priced in $) more expensive.
I dont believe that not buying fuel from one or two brands will drive down the global oil price or erode refining margins. The two companies mentioned also supply a significant number of supermarket and other brand fuel retail / wholesellers.
Unfortunately, I believe that the days of cheap oil are sadly behind us - therefore every £ of fuel should be enjoyed in a great car like a Zed!

Great car control to doughnut a rather expensive car so near to the barrier and crowd! DO love a bit of showboating!

By hand, 10 minutes with a microfibre cloth will give you positive results. I took this route before the more aggressive sanding options.

If you have time and effort on your side, I have tidied my lights up with this: http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/engine-am ... d_283.html

I wasnt that impressed with AG alloy wheel spray protector - the occational polish and seal with AG super gloss sealant (called something like that) has been the best combo I've used.

Having seen your car down at Abbey, great write up of how you are putting it to good use! Keep them going, great to check out a really focussed Zed

Don't all 08's have satnav?

That is one fantastically inefficient delivery company! Feel the frustration though mate

Hi guys, anyone got a new or used one of these for a 2004 Zed?

I think my berks set of the CEL light in very cold weather - reset in warm weather and all is fine, then when it drops under 2-3 degrees, it comes back. My logic was that cold dense air allows more fuel to the mix, therfore runs rich...so emissions go up, tripping the CEL. Is this similar to what others have found?
Called Nissan to ask them to read the fault code for me, to be on the safe side, but they want to charge me £50 for the privilege. Is this standard Nissan practice?

Dilute it to what you need, strongest 1:1. I use it 1:10 in a spray bottle, should be everything you need. Very popular with folks on http://www.detailingworld.co.uk/

Bilberry if you can get it, Auto Glym tar remover if you cant....and a whole lot of patience!

That wheel shot is awesome!

I have exactly the same issue - anything less than 2000 rpm and there is the chatter!

out on a limb, but I think the standard tailpipes are great - if they were put on a stainless back box, would be perfect for me.
Dissapointed the Nismo doesnt have the slash cut exits of the standard zorst!

Very surprised these havent gone - get them cleaned, good photos and get them on Ebay

rate that!

theres nothing wrong with lancias! built better than our 350's i must admit! oh and welcome to the forum by the way
Maybe most owners didnt tick the "watertight" option at the Lancia dealer

Welcome mate, dont be put off by the earlier cars (though I am biased!) - providing you get one that has been well serviced and looked after, very few common faults...just check the clicking axles and skipping bose!
It's a Nissan not a Lancia!

Definately pressure the dealer - I seem to remember from a few years ago (non zed) being told that the dealer would only honour corrosion warantee if at every service the dealer had put an inspection stamp in the paint and bodywork section of the service book. Regularly overlooked at service time, so was their get out clause...damn stealers!
Gun Metal Rota GTR's fitted at last :-)
