hmm I stand corrected then. I was under the impression that the oiling of the foam filters is what gave them good filtration properties.

that looks brilliant. At first the thought of making a home made F1 car sounded daft - but seeing that as a road legal motor, big respect. Can you imagine nipping down to the shops in it? Not sure a 1.7 engine from a 33 would give it the Go to match the Show!

Having used uprated panel filters on the Zed and other cars, not likely to get any improvement in sound or performance. It may be pschological but I felt like the throttle was a tad sharper and on a long run got slightly better economy.
Regardless, they will put cleaner air into the engine compared to a paper filter so good for longevity I guess

For £35 I will take one
Have used Opie before and very impressed with the service

Well done for getting the coaching thrown in Hoff - is this weekend / weekday?

All of those seats look awesome

Great combo, should be happy with that

My typing must be too slow! What did you go for in the end?

Soft nail brush and some diluted APC (e.g. megs) to about 1:10 give it a scrub then wipe and protect with a good plastic protector

I have 20mm eibach all round and think it's just right. Unless you have a wide arch kit I think anything wider would look unbalanced. If you really want to, go 25 at the rear but 20 at the front

The other Zed was me, there a little later than planned. That 240 was lovely - clearly someone's pride and joy.
Unfortunate that we didnt get the chance to say hello Triumph, your Zed was looking good.

Nice one Mike. Definately agree that larger wheel look like a must.
I think the shape will look nicest in a darker colour...any word on how many colours its being offered in?
Interior looks good...though perhaps a tad busy...I think BMW got it right with the less is more approach in the current range.
Slightly dissapointing that you lose the spare for the Bose sub.
Sure when the 350 was launched there were numerous debates on design...but will all come down to how it drives and makes you feel!

Grab a bargain original or keep saving for the 313 engine I'd say...although I am biased!

Love an excuse to have breakfast at the Ace! Hopefully able to confirm later today

I'm not sure a CSL is seriously quicker than an F430 / GT-R / 911 Turbo / Z06? Possible that a BTG time compared to a full lap?
With racing tyres maybe...

Unlucky on your sale. Reading the above, I would be cautious of a 4 owner car. Sure that it would have had a harder life than one with fewer owners. He isn't doing a great sales job on it, and as you will see elsewhere on the forum, be aware of Azure resprays. Very tricky to get the colour match right.
Believe it's 15 posts before you can advertise on the forum - but once you have that definately put a link to your for sale ad in the relevant section on here.
Good luck with it, plenty of bargain Zeds out there.

Based on my expereince, for a long weekend all in (fuel, ferry, accom, food drinks etc plus Ring ticket) looking at £500-£600 at the current exchage rate.
Depending on dates I am keen for a ring visit this year

Might have know that no Southern dealer would offer such service!
I was in Nissan Shepperton (has been poorly reviewed elsewhere on the forum) last month and specifically had a chat about the 370. After chatting about my Zed and my nismo exhaust etc etc I asked if I could leave my details so they could contact me about trading in for a 370 when they had one to look at...reply was, umm yeah maybe but we dont really do that.
Dont deserve to be in business with an attitude like that!

Looks like a tidy example - may be worth doing a car history check on it before you make the journey and have a really explicit conversation with the seller on the phone before you go. This will give you good negotiating power over anything you find that they havent told you about.
Where is the car ? obviously ideal if a forum member can give it the once over

What kind of a copper has a prisoner in the boot! Proper Sweeny style!

If I was after a hatch would definately take it for a test drive. Agree that the interior should have been more like the concept, but all in all a good looking car.
-
Where abouts is it? Impressed that Nissan customer service actually manages to engage with its customers!
-
It would put you off driving with a hangover....could only describe the colour as queasy

Does the car idle properly? i.e. not set too low?
How many miles has the car done? I know that there shouldnt be any running in gremlins but its a possibility. Certainly dont let the dealer fob you off!
