  1. Not hiflows as they still give back pressure... It may have happened to some but this can be caused by an illfitting joint and air leaking. It can happen if you go straight through with test pipes!
  2. Would prefer not to.... As I bought them to this company as a client for other IT stuff! The idea is is almost like an auction without the bids... Just showing your interest is like making a bid! IIRC its linked to the users IP address or cookie so that it wont go up if the same person is looking for it! So they are not that devious... Just a little bit!
  3. Proof or I call BS. I'd only ever buy from the DVLA anyway, as they're always cheaper as the other companies simply buy from them and then put their percentage on top. No physical proof apart from the last company I worked for wrote a website for a numberplate company and as part of the brief we were asked to write triggers into the database in the search area that if the same exact numberplate was searched for over 5 times then the cost went up by a %.. Supply and demand as there is only 1 plate available! Its also interesting how many of the different number plate compaies are all owned by the same company... After all its not governed and they can charge what they want. And yes to buy from DVLA unless the plate is held on retention by one of the private plate companies... There was talk that the DVLA were going to put a time limit on retentions and if they wernt being used on a car that they would go back into circulation.. Not sure if this has now been done..
  4. If the OP does post it, dont all go and look for it! The numberplate companies monitor the searchs for certain plates and then either buy them using their discounts or if they own them start putting the price up due to demand!!
  5. After all this talk on this thread I think it needs tidying up or at least split for discussion.... For the sake of the OP's for sale thread.
  6. Plenum is easy, guides on the web too, Spacers, make sure you get the right ones..... some people have bought the wrong ones... Something to do with hubcentric or somethign like that!
  7. If you get a flip back jobbie, then a couple of zip ties and some foam should do the job like the liliput installs.... Or if you wanted to take it out you could do this!!
  8. Still think that for sale threads should be locked to stop comments like that.... Maybe the OP dosnt want to sell for 10k.... Maybe he thinks he put enough coin into warrent the price... Even if its worth a bit less I dont think comments like that are called for. Maybe the person that sold the car for 10k sold it too cheap and he / she was desperate to sell......... Exactly the same car was it? Forsale threads should be adverts... not just open for general discussion...
  9. Kenitx and 5zigen Pro Racer on mine. Had no issues thus far. Noise is amazing If you havnt got the plenum spacer get that done at the same time! Oh and you are getting the y-pipe too arnt you? Envy do stock these parts and I belive they may have some ready to fit
  10. Nice one mate, great pics showing what needs to be done. Have done the same with mine (not the same parts though!) and it makes an amazing difference to the car.
  11. Ah well spotted!! I bought 2 lots of the 501 to see which ones would be best up front and then used the ones that wernt as good in the rear numberplate and then used one more in the light in the trunk.... On the rears, am not sure unfortunatly, I got the updated Nissan LED's off alex on here, but they are not here at my flat or I would have had a look for you.... I dont think there are any other "bayonet" type fittings on the car so am going for a plug in type but it would be a massive guess!! M
  12. Search for "Hi Beam" and all the info is in there.
  13. Glad you spelt that right............
  14. Would go with Zorst but only if you have already dont the standard engine mods first, plenum spacer, grounding Kit, air dam etc etc.... Wouldnt go for the K1(Just personal opinion), maybe the turbo XS but would look at something like the Nismos or the 5zigen... Number plate and bonnet would be down the list...
  15. http://www.350z-tech.com/zwiki/IPod_wit ... und_System There are a few links in there that may help you find what your looking for... M
  16. But then you might as well go for a dedicated Kenwood or Pioneer double din and then link a 2nd screen to it... This lot is up for sale for a 1k Kenwood DNX7200 Kenwood KCA-BT200 Bluetooth Kit Alpine HCE C200R Multi view rear camera system and control box (you can just plug a front view camera to this). Two Infinity Subwoofers and its custom built box that is a perfect fit for the back of the Z 3 x Alpine Amps with its stand and cover which again as seen on my installation is a perfect fit for the Z And then you just need to spend £100 on a liliput screen for the upper cubby!
  17. What do you want to know? If its about the Aux bit you would be better off buying a single din and putting it in the bottom and then putting this in the top, at least you may have the easier AUX in?
  18. Or just go for the K&N typhoon and you get more hardware and a nice bit of carbon for under the hood And a polished Pipe! Just posting so the new people know there are other options available
  19. Been discusssed, available at a few places mostly near race tracks, Wont help the Zed unless you have a piggyback and a map for it.... ECU will just dial it out....
  20. Info on the 350GT if the OP is interested in finding out more... http://www.nihoncar.com/en/review-332-X.html
  21. When done right this car can look sick!!!! Or this !!
