So the car totally cut out not the revs dropped and the car slowed on its own (ie it took control) Sounds like you have a more serious issue than coolant as the car cut out but the electrics are fine, you would have noticed the the screens going off as they have to reboot.... Am with Andys suggestion on the alternator check... You may find that your install or something else from the kit being removed and refitted may be causing electric issues... Are you getting a CEL now? Did you get one of the OBD readers in the end? It is the insurance co's job to get it back to you in working order but you chose the body shop for the repair didnt you? And all they did was fitted the kit not checked out the structure... By "opting out" you may find that the insurance company wont now cover as is could be classed as not being caused by the accident...

had the same at one point Andy, do I take it that the car droped to low revs? All the engine lights on? Mine was low engine coolant and a air lock in the pipe, easy sorted... Did they check the rad when they did the repair work? Get the battery changed though ASAP...

Coming down the M4 to Newbury this morning I happened to see a lady in the middle lane (Doing 42mph with no one in the inside lane ) when passing I realised she was wearing one of the pig flu masks.... 5zigen for me but with manifolds, they change the note deeper. New 5zigen chilli red mentioned is deffinetly deeper than the pro racer and zzz the guys above are talking about. RSR that alex mentioned has a great note too

Whats in there at the moment? Just a HU or HU and amps? Is it the original or one you picked up recently? If its one you picked up they are coded to the ECU i think so you may have an issue... I think the bluetooth / phone works well but yeh your right, they on a scale of bad to excellent they come in at OK...

Yeh I got the "what car is it" a few times but then I moved the badge onto the rear strut and debadged I got it even more!

Ancasters in Croydon are good and quite a bit cheaper. If you got a aftermarket filter they wont charge for the filter, if you got a stock airbox, dont let them provide, just get a k+n or other drop in yourself... Also see if they will use your oil and then get some from Opie or Envy and get Nissan to use that and your all good! Also, whats your milage? That cost may include sparks....

How far if any are you lowered? Sounds like you may be rubbing on the wheel arch.. easy way to find out is to rub your finger in the arch near the wheel... On a coupe it sounds like a bag of spanners in the boot! If you not lowered and you are rubbing you may have other issues... If its not lowered and your not rubbing then you need to get it looked at... if it is an ARB then it could be loose and if it drops just on one side then you may have a big issue!! Best to get it looked at! To the OP! Could be a few things but it shouldnt be happening! Take the door card off! Dead easy, pop the little cover in the door handle pull bit, one screw in there, remove the cover with the window control, upplug the wires underneath, 2 more screws in the door panel, remove, then from the bottom get your fingers under the door and pull up, the door card hooks on to the top of the door. little panel with the tweeter speaker in could come off but may just stay, either way no bother! so with door card off just check all the screws inc the speaker as this may have worked free.... It also may be door lock! 2 bolts in the back of the door, one in the side (of the drivers door.) Pull the lock out slightly and this should expose the door lock (its the brass bit at the bottom) and then make sure the bolt is tight! Also there is a plastic sleave that fits on the bottom of the window that can come loose just fit it back on the bottom of the window... Should be somewhere in there! Sorry if this was answered in other posts after post 4 but I started writting this and then went away!

Hmmm.... I somehow dont think that the heating could get to such a high temp to burn bacteria!!! If you had flames coming out of the vents maybe!!! There is another version being discussed on the other site that costs £2.99 that is supposed to be like the Comma one. Waiting for feedback on its usage... Easy way is to use your AC all the time (unless you want a bit more power!!) , AC dosnt mean that its cold its air conditioning! and dont recirc use it so the air comes from outside and you wont have smelly vents!

Top work Mr Kudos Would love to do the TVR solanoid under the wing mirrors thing but I have seen one somewhere where the solanoid is placed behind the B pillar and you push that in a certain place to open... you would need to make sure the doors lock when you drive though like the BMW antihijack system or they may open at speed or when its very windy!...

looks great mate, unfortunatly the real deal does cost a few £ but is the best looking badge for the rear... quality dosnt come cheap and I dont think the fake plastic ones will have anything on the real ones...
