  1. 3 commin off next month.......!! :yahoo:

not quite in time for wales though.

can't imagine how bad it would be to be constantly so close to losing license / job etc and having a car like a zed that asks for a thrashing. . .

  2. Im actually in the camp that beleives CO2 emissions have three tenths of bugger all to do with global warming.

Any scientists that try to prove this are all but branded as heretics. If there were any proof to come out tht human generated CO2 is not as damaging as we all thought, the entire green industry woul be blown to bits, making hundreds of thousands of people around the globe redundant, wiping billions of pounds/dollars worth of value from companies that have invested in "green" measures etc.

So whether its true or not, this green bandwagon is here to stay.

Apparently the earth is now at its warmest for 400 years. Which begs the question as to what made it warmer 400 years ago? I dont recall reading about King James the firsts nasty CO2 generating V6 twin turbo, and the peasants runing filthy diesel generators but I could have skimmed that chapter I suppose.

Some scientist has linked modern CO2 to the change in climate and the governments have pounced on the opportunity to make billions in revenue.

    +1

  3. i know 350z aren't the most eco friendly cars, and i'm all for having supercars that don't give off co2 (would rather damage the environment than lose fast cars) but i don't agree that the z is in the same band as range rovers, lambos etc.

wonder if the government are using this extra money to fix the spine shattering pot holes near me?

  4. Sounds like a fair price to me as well.

I paid £170 to have a rear spoiler fitted and painted.

cheers mate. never had a kit fitted before so no idea how much it would cost or what was involved. if it sounds fair i'm happy with it.

  5. I have the DC system. Very impressed with it. I like the sound and the quality seems to be spot on!

does it sound anything like the sound clip in my previous post mate?

  6. there is a sound clip here but it's only the dc headers with a few other things that will contaminate the sound of the dc a bit. might help to give an idea of the sound though, and it does sound good imo :teeth:

  7. it's the front and rear under spoilers, and side spats. the front and rear seem like urethane, and the side spats are fibreglass (i am guessing here as i don't actually know, the front and rear are quite bendy, but the side spats are solid).

the kit is genuine veilside and from a reputable seller but there are some issues with fitment in some cases. 2 body shops have refused to fit it because it may require shaving, and they don't think that the time it will take to fit properly will make it worth their while (i'd have thought if i was paying what does it matter, they charge by the hour don't they?)

  8. does £400 - £500 sound right for painting and fitting full V1 kit?

i've no chance of fitting it myself so will need professional help and recommended body shops have politely told me where to go. i have got someone willing to fit it but thats the price i'm looking at. don't mind paying it as long as i'm not getting taken roughly from behind. :headhurt:

  9. would prefer to wait and see what the next generation z brings or the new infiniti, but looks ok. reminds me of an alpha. . . don't think it looks as good as the zed though (although admittedly you can't see it properly)

  10. i do have one of those, but getting someone willing to fit it is another matter. . . :headhurt:

    Fittedmine myself

I love the way you had yours painted, Kev. B)

the yellow and carbon fibre really work well. i would try to fit mine myself but i have the side spats to fit as well which are a bit beyond me.

  11. If you do a diagnostic procedure (guides section) via the pedals a code will be displayed using a series of flashes of the check engine light. That will tell you exactly what is wrong. Then you can do ECU reset! :teeth:

some peoples knowledge of the 350z shows me just how little i actually know. . . impressive stuff
