Me and Jeremy (Pingu2) will be meeting locally in New Malden and shud be at J11 at 9.15 as long as no probs down the A3 or M25.. if we're held up il give u bell.

Got a grounding kit and voltage stabiliser from States.. and both fitted but damn ugly in the engine bay.. The voltage stabiliser states instant 10hp increase, smoother ride etc etc Grounding kit states that it will make engine noise less and unleash extra power gains etc etc.. Has anyone else got these installed? My local performance specialist says theyre a load of rubbish..Are these really needed?

Glad to hear u found fault.. Did u notice any positive changes when the plenum was installed? How much was the part and installation? (by the way shud we avoid the garage who fitted yours?? )

Got my K&N Typhoon kit on its way from States.. it got fully enclosed heat shield box.. so shudnt have any heat problems.. and Nismo exhuast fitted already.. sound from these shud be awsome.. now just need that re-map from TDI to get more power

Both Nismo and Topspeed sound sooo nice! I admit..at first i thought theyre both too loud.. but i got used to it and they turn heads for miles around Depends if u want to get noticed... Topspeed will give ur car more original agressive track car look.. whilst the Nismo will look more like stock exhaust (with deeper sound). Also..i had problems with fitment of my nismo exhuast had to pay the garage an extra 2 hrs worth of fiddling and hammering till they got the backbox straight on both sides.... not an experience i want to go thru again!

Nevermind...august is holiday time.. and loads just pulled out. Need more commitment from members if a plan is going to work..

FINALLY ALL SORTED!! You were spot on Chris! Took it to another garage..and they took off the mounting bracket under the left hand side of the car and hammered till it was the right angle so that the exhaust was lifted slightly on the left when they re-fit it Finally now the exhaust looks much better and same height on both sides now. Have a look at the photo.. (sorry its not gd quality, fr cam on my phone) ..also i was refunded $250 by the seller in US. Thx for all support guys!

Hi - youre soo right! I did just complain on phone 5 mins ago.. they offered me to come in and attempt an adjustment.. any idea how they adjusted yours? my garage are suggesting hammering at one of fittings so it lifts the backbox left side.. Had another lok a the exhuast and realised the left tail pipe is sticking further out the back than the right as well!!

No way! .. sorry i meant left side is 2 cm lower.. in my opinion the left side is too low.. dont want to make the right side that low or both will look weird!
