IM REALLY HACKED OFF NOW!! Had the Nismo exhaust installed by a reputable garage.. and one side (left) of the backbox is 2cm LOWER than the other side making it look odd!! They said they fitted it according to instructions.. so why isnt it a perfect fitment??!!! They charged me 2 hrs work and it doesnt look right.. and no other garage will touch it cos its not their work in the first place.

Cheers guys.. part refund is probably better option. Will get the exhaust fitted tmr and see what it looks like then..il send u some photos here when its fitted

Fraid we had too many last min cancellations..and no PMs about contact details etc etc... - i think too many poeple on holiday now.. we'll need to delay this trip after august.. il suggest more dates and see how we go with that.

WOW.. thanks for the quick responses! Was ordered from a reliable source US for £750 total (incl tax and duty) was v good price and sent to me by UPS.. they obviously bumped it somewhere and im sure its insured. The seller kindly offered me a completely new system free of charge.. (i assume il have to send the old one back even if he pays for the postage..maybe a hassle) He also kindly offered me $250 refund if i install it and keep it... im thinking this might be better.. as u all said it probably wont be noticed as its on opposite side of the nismo word.. What do u think? refund $250 or go to the trouble of getting new one free of charge?

Im still hopeful we can turn this around.. anyone who's following this up , you have my full support.. anything i can do to help.

Had this nismo exhaust sent to me.. was VV pleased to ses the box arrive...however when opening i found 3' wide 0.5' deep dent in the backbox!!! (on opposite side of the Nismo word) Does anyone know if this might cause problems ..such as a weak spot which might reduce the life of the exhaust? or reduce performance at all?? Jesus.. if he added 19's and leather interior.. i wonder what other things he added... i bet the previous owner went nuts on optional extras GOOD BUY! ... why wud u worry abt 20 bhp? Not sure where i heard it now.. but i was told the ST and S version had stiffer suspension as they are the sports versions (well ST has best of both worlds).

Why wud u go for the Base model?? I got the S version... sports pack.. its unbelievable! i wudnt settle for the base 17' wheels or suspension..

hey..im 100% with u on this... just doesnt seem right that UK z's are classed differently to imports... Would definately be up for petitioning DVLA about this!

i knew it.. i had a chat with u and your friend infront of your house few months back, i stopped off with my Chinese girlfriend to have a look at your Z whilst we were on the way to Richmond Park.. i was driving that awful green Golf at the time.. remember? I think u had just fitted the rear LED lights and was planning to get Nismo exhuast from US ...ring any bells?

I agree nixy..looking back that fairlady badge did look a lot better than the 350z badge!!

EBIZED - Im also bit more familiar with roads going from London to Brighton.. and im picking up a passenger in Guildford.. last time he showed me an awsome A- road leading south from Guildford.. might be tthe one u mentioned.. nice and twisty..and u cant get lost as its straight down to to Brighton il look it up tonight on multimap

Damn Sarnie.. cant compete with that! Maybe i can just get some wheel spacers..wont these fill out the arches a bit more?? (shud be much cheaper option..)

This is a last minute idea.. but i thought maybe alter the trip destination to Brighton?? .. it would mean shorter round trip..and some better twisty roads to use from Guildford onwards.. can i pls have some feedback on this idea...

CANT BELEIVE THIS!!! The fairlady badge at back... when i took it off.. there was still an outline of the letters etched into the paintwork!!! no amount white spirit or rubbing wud remove it !! ..ive even tried T-Cut.. and no joy.. im sooooooooo off!!!!!!!!!!
